Staff is very good, they look after guest needs well Nothing

Actually room was ok. Service was terrible I booked Pinidiya Resort Anuradhapura for 1 night (01/11/2024 - 02/11/2024) on Booking.com. Before booking, I called them directly to ask the price of a double room and whether it had two beds. They said they had double rooms with double beds. I ended the call and booked a deluxe triple room for two adults on Booking.com. The listing showed that the room had one double bed, one extra-large double bed, and a free room upgrade available. When I arrived at the hotel, I mentioned that I had booked a room on Booking.com. The owner came over and asked why I booked through Booking.com instead of booking directly with them, as though I had committed a crime. I replied that I am a Genius Level 3 member on Booking.com and have the right to book either through Booking.com or directly—it’s my choice. Then she try to offer me a double room with a 1 bed. Then i said i booked a tripple room for double. Then she asked me why you booked tripple room for 2 adults, I said it is not your business and i need a room as i booked. The owner then said that since I booked through Booking.com, I had to pay $20 for the room. I pointed out that the rate on the booking app was $17 and asked her to verify it. She replied that it was a loss for her. I suggested that if it was a loss, she should increase the prices on Booking.com, to which she replied that Booking.com was not working properly and that they were not answering her calls. I mentioned that I had called them twice and had no issues reaching them.Then i called booking.com,While i am in recording of call after she agreed to provide the room.Then i ended the call, they offered me a room with 2 extra-large double bed, which I believe was the upgrade mentioned on Booking.com. The owner tried to charge me Rs. 310 for one dollar as $17 payment. The actual exchange rate yesterday was Rs. 292.96, so I pointed that out.

I am in Australia. I remotely organised a pilgrimage to my mother and my relatives to Anuradhapura sacred city. I made the booking for them at Pinidiya. The service from the Pinidiya team was exceptionally Great! The Manager was really good and she made us impressive on the security, safety, trustworthiness of their service to my mother and all . Their customer service is superb. My mother happily said; the service from the resort made their trip a memorable and comfortably familiar like own home. The staff done an appreciable hospitality Excellent place for accommodations And tasty meals!! My mother extremely happy to stay at the Pinidiya again in next visit. Highly recommended for anyone who wants accommodation nearby Anuradhapura! Nothing to mention. Everything is perfect. Great service.

The property was clean and tidy. And most of all the service and they treated us as we are part of their family. It was our 5th visit to the property and we always choose this place when we go to Anuradhapura. The Lady who owns the property is really nice and we forgot to take our belongings and she contacted us and done special arrangements and made sure we got our stuff back. I’m really thankful for her❤️?

The owner lady of the Pinidiya is very nice and kind. I am very happy with her hospitality and accommodation provided. Since herself and family have a foreign exposure, she knows how to maintain the place at high comfort and make visitors happy. As I noticed, running an accommodation business is not easy in Sri Lanka nowadays. With such difficulties, she tried her best to make us happy and fill. I recommend this place for Anuradhapura visitors. If you could fix the bathroom shower system to maintain a good pressure, that would be much appreciated.

The rooms are not quiet. We heard another room noises

- nice and lovely place to stay at. Some chairs and sofa in the hallway and outside for chilling - really comfortable and clean beds - AC and fans working properly - sufficient space in the room. Closet and some shelfs to store your belongings - good and big breakfast. Freshly prepared every day - clean bathroom. Hot and cold shower - the owners are friendly and welcoming. The speak a good english - quite neighborhood. No noise in the night - Wifi not too fast, but working constantly Actually nothing to complain about. That‘s what you wish for! But: to bring your own vehicle makes sense

Pinidiya Resort team was very caring and supportive. I have stayed in many places in Anuradhapura but this is the most safest place I have stayed. Rooms were clean, parking is safe and comfortably few SUVs can be parked easily inside. Owner was very generous and humble to check every need throughout the stay. All the guests were decent people and infact a great stay at this location. Highly recommended for couples and families to stay safe, comfortably and with the peace of mind.

Luckily we did not book for more than one day and arrived late and spared ourselves of the horrible experience for just a few hours!!! A crumbling building at the end of a narrow difficultly commuted road. Had a hot tempered, arrogant caretaker/owner who found it fit to vent her frustration at the unfortunate guests who had to bear non-functioning toilets, showers, non- available toiletries, towels and linen. Robbed of belongings, charged for stuff advertised as free, did not accept cards and forced to pay with currency.

Nice and friendly staff, Kind property owner. sound proof rooms, spotless clean wash room/ bath room. onsite parking available. calm and quite environment. property have measures in place to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) comfy beds, clan & comfy linen, double rooms are bit small in space. and the celling bit low but for short stays its fine & manageable recommended.
