Rather noisy and humid

Great place to stay. The owners are very helpful (will organise tuk tuks to the temples etc) and the Sri Lankan breakfasts are fantastic.

Very helpful and friendly manager. Mosquito net Extreme noisy. Couldn't sleep half of the night and then someone started vacuum cleaning at 7:30.

Simple and clean and everything I needed for a basic stay. The husband and wife are very friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely. There is a fabulous restaurant next door. They can organise tours if you like and it is recommended given the heat and distances. The property entrance is at the back and down a short alley. Ask Eiffel Tower shop if you can’t find the entrance. It is very hot and the AC didn’t keep up and so I also asked for a fan. A neighbouring shop has ultra loud music but it stops at 10pm.

A lovely hostess, adorable dogs, fabulous plants, and a very comfi room. We highly recommend their homemade sri lankan breakfast - so good!

Large, bright comfortable room. Best pillow in Sri Lanka. Friendly owners. Very central location (you get some noise from the road, but that's to be expected).

Really nice location, the building is incredible with many plants and spots where to stay and enjoy. Incredible rooftop. The family is really nice and helpful. Good coffee in the morning as well. Quiet location while being central. Two beautiful and lovely dogs. Everything was good.

Lovely people, beautiful terrace and tasty breakfast. Very worth it!

Great hosts, good food, organised our excursions with good guides, comfortable clean room. Don't be put off by the side street entry, be prepared for lots of stairs and paying in cash only. The stairs, parts without a balustrade, for these old legs.

The hot water in the shower didn't work very well .

Excellent home made food (both breakfast and dinner), great location from which to visit the sights, and very friendly staff who helped us arrange everything. Highly recommended.

The terrace is a green oasis, the room was comfortable, the hosts were kind and very helpful and the food was delicious. No complaints!

Loved the rooftop terrace with all the plants. The owners were super helpful and the breakfasts and dinners were superb. The information given was very good. Sixty steps might be difficult for elderly or infirm guests. A drawer or small cupboard in the bedroom would be useful.

Such a lovely homestay with a really friendly couple running it. I arrived late and they made me dinner (and gave me seconds!) and helped me the next morning with getting a sim card. View from the rooftop is also lovely Only minor but the bicycles you can rent from them could really do with an upgrade! Mine only had one very very low gear that made cycling hard

Although the location is in urban surrounding the plants make it look like the jungle. Two very nice roofterraces. (One with a fridge with water and beer). The host Danika is even for Sri Lankian standards very friendly and helpfull.
