This place is located in Pooja town and is a very peaceful place. We came by bus. We were very scared because the bus was coming at night, but the owner contacted us from a distance and brought us safely to the accommodation. We hired a van from this guest house to visit Atamasthana. We also had food from them. It was delicious like home-cooked food. It was really good value for money. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I think the place is cheap to us. The owner also helped to me travel Anuradhapura . Beds and other equipment are good. We can use their kitchen also. I am happy But I think if theire bathroom have to clean more ? But this place is good

The accommodation is very clean and it is located near thisawawa so it esay to take a bath we rented a bike from them and they provided van and three weeler transportation as per our reqvirement .fair service is provided for the money paid. We were also able to get food from them .the food is very tasty and the owner is very kind . The helped us a lot and will definitely come here agin . When come to anuradhpura. Because it is located near the Tissa Lake. And the friendliness of the owner. Even the scooter he has is available for rent, which made our trip very easy. Also, all the necessary equipment and kitchen facilities are available for pilgrims to prepare food and drinks. nothing else..

This is located in a very free and quiet place near the Tissa Lake. It is indeed a better guest than we expected. The fee is also very low. But there are all the necessary facilities. There is a lot of space in the room. The bathroom and rooms are all clean. You can also get delicious, clean food from them at a very reasonable price. You can also rent tuk & bike from them. Highly recommend for your stay.

Food and room. Distance is more from the bus stand. Tuk tuk drivers refuse to come as the location is in a remote place. Tuk tuk drivers charge around 800 to 1000, which is equal to the room tarrif. Owner/ staff doesn't understand English hence suitable only for people knowing Sinhala language.

Helpful owner, Honest person, a room can sleep 4 guests (sleep only, not to stay inside for long time as it is bit tight for 4 to hang around), close to temples, calm and quiet place, meals provided for extra cost. Tea and one meal (breakfast) was given free for our old parents. We were offered late checkout by the owner for no extra cost. Clean and big house with a kitchen (but you live with a Lady). We booked 3 rooms and stayed 2 nights. Price is reasonable. We had one breakfast which was good. Early leaving or late night get back was ok which helped us to travel around. Recommend this place if you are a traveler during the day and wants a place to sleep at night as we did. Talk to the owner for fees and meals, not with the Lady (owner's sister?) at the premises as she tries to exploit, one meal (fish) per person was Rs380 before ordering which increased to Rs480 by this Lady, when we came to have it . We didnt argue. But later she gave us some rice and let use her kitchen to prepare it for the offering to the temple next day. Aircon usage attracts Rs1500 extra per night per room and it is also available in one room only. Hot water facility (which is also not a must in the area) is available in one room only. Water flow in the toilet floor is awkward (in the above room) and you need to sweep it away. Kitchen usage is for a fee. You get the basic room (which is good for the price) and everything else is for an extra charge. No towels or toiletries provided.

The service is friendly, and the facilities are value for the money. The location is convenient, though the entry road not so much good. It’s also close to all the main historical sites. We enjoyed the stay.

This guest house is very clean. Also the owner is very nice and friendly. Ruwanweliseya is about 1.5 km to Jaya Sri Maha Bodi and you can go in about 5 minutes. The cost is very low and they provide very good service for the money you pay. The working aunty is also good. The food and drinks are very tasty. You can get A/C and hot water for a low price. I recommend anyone to stay here as a guest house that provides good service for a low price.
