Sugar Marina Hotel - Cliffhanger - Aonang

We really loved our stay! The room was spotless, and it was so thoughtful of the hotel to provide beach mats. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pool was beautiful, and the view was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! Nothing can be better !

Hotel staff were all wonderful and so kind. Everyone from front desk to cleaning crew to the restaurant staff. Every was so pleasant and helpful. Loved the location, it was about a 10-15 minute walk to Ao Nong. I will definitely stay here again!

The gym is nothing like the pictures

It’s the perfect spot if you’re in Krabi?centrally located, close to all restaurants and shops, a lovely walk down to the Aon Nang beach?. The staff are the real gems of this hotel. So polite and accommodating I’m very impressed! A very special mention to Miss Hunnah - thank you so very much for all your efforts in making our stay comfortable and understanding our difficulties with the airlines changing our itinerary. SugarMarina is very lucky to have Hunnah and their wonderful staff ? 1.Would not recommend for people without kids as it gets noisy with all the children screaming crying shouting. 2.People tend to party in the pool very late at night and it’s audible up in the rooms - otherwise it’s relatively quiet and peaceful.

On our first night, the air conditioning wasn’t cold. We informed the hotel, and they immediately sent someone to fix it. Although it improved, we were exhausted from the journey and didn’t have the energy to deal with it further. The second night, the room still wasn’t as cool as it should have been, but again, we were simply too tired to raise the concern. By the third night, all we really wanted was a good night’s sleep. When we reached out again, the team responded with such genuine care. They offered us another room to sleep in, without the hassle of moving all our belongings. It was such a thoughtful and compassionate gesture, and in that moment, we truly felt looked after. We are deeply grateful for their attentiveness and the way they made us feel cared for. It turned a small discomfort into something we will remember with appreciation. None

The location was on the mail strip about 800metres from the beach. Lots of restaurants , cafes, shows, long tail boats and shopping within walking distance The pool was too cold and I personally found it awkward being in the pool and having main floor guests access same pool from their room.

The amenities were not available.there was no toothbrush and toothpaste.

Room with direct pool access was great for kids, daily cleaning was good, and breakfast included nice options like gluten-free bread. Noise was a big issue, with people still using the pool and being loud well past the stated 8pm closing time, sometimes until 10pm. Early mornings were also disruptive as we were near housekeeping, with staff talking loudly, using walkie talkies, and moving laundry from around 7am. Being in the first building also meant we never went through reception, so it felt harder to raise concerns and there was little interaction with staff. We stayed during Songkran so it may have been busier, but overall it didn’t feel like good value for money

We got a wonderful room as expected. The walk out room to the pool was quiet, clean with good air conditioning. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The location was fantastic. Many good restaurants and shopping nearby and only a 20 minute walk to the main beach. Even got an hour long Thai massage for only $13.00. Krabi is a jewel of a place to visit. Not too busy with tourists and extremely friendly. Near the end of our stay, some breakfast items were missing at times with slow recovery. However, the staff were more than helpful to replenish the stock as best they could. Hotel on the outside could use an update.

Very nice host, perfect location (center but behind- quiet), and nice breakfast. The hotel is great though highly priced for what you get in terms of room sizes or breakfast buffet quality and options.

This is a great hotel , very big rooms and everting is clean and nice swimming pool .

Very spacious room, super quiet. Surrounded by restos and bars and a not too long walk to Aonang beach. Friendly staff Check-in expérience was chaotic and daily room cleaning is a little late (our experience was just before 4pm)

The staff are nice, The room.was clean and nice value for money, The room with an access to the pool is connected to the pool of the hotell and people just swim across the balcony, feels like they are in the room. The "gym" looks like a storage of a broken gyms machines. The hot water in the shower comes and go.every few seconds and the current is very weake.

We love the room with direct access to the pool and the hotel location Is superb. Many restaurants, massage center and shopping just around the corner. Hotel lobby is too steep to walk up for checking in and out ?

The location Was good

It’s a very unique property with it being built into the side of the cliff. We loved having the walkout into the pool.
