This hotel was amazing! The location was incredible and the staff were exceptional. This is such a hidden gem and I’ll be back.

Great breakfast selection, exceptional views overlooking the old town of Kastro, and incredibly warm and thoughtful staff. A truly lovely stay overall.

Absolutely beautiful view and stunning pool. The rooms were also well designed and comfortable. The location is peaceful but it is in a quiet area a 20ish minute walk to town. I didn’t mind but probably better for those with cars.

Breakfast every morning was amazing, the staff were SOOOO friendly and lovely, and the food at the hotel is incredible! Def do dinner there at least once!! And the POOL!!! And VIEW!! Just incredible! Nothing--it was incredible!

My husband and I had an exceptional stay at this lovely hotel on this lovely island. We loved the peaceful view of the ocean and watching the sunrise over the town below. The hotel was staffed with kind and attentive people and came with complimentary, delicious buffet breakfasts each morning (we also had an excellent dinner at the hotel one evening). We were within walking distance of a supermarket and could walk to several towns, including Apollonia, Kastro, and Artemonas. We would love to stay at this hotel again in the future and hope to return to Sifnos!

Gorgeous location overlooking sea and hilltop village. The buildings were very thoughtfully set up with an unusual eye to detail. The staff was remarkably responsive. Basiliki and Spiro were a great welcoming team. The chef was just unexpectedly excellent with a very subtle tasting menu. A real delight. My husband and I could not think of one single thing not to like. Sorry.

Beautiful views and property. Very well taken care of and with clear attention to every detail. The breakfast was great! The manager, Spiros, and his family were so kind and attentive they made our stay truly wonderful. Nothing!

Friendly and helpful staff. Location a bit out of main towns but if you are a walker it is fine. Good to have a car. No indoor area to sit when the winds are high / weather not conducive for outdoor other than your room.

The location is really nice - the views are quite stunning and it’s in a quiet area not too far from the chora. Breakfast is nice with everything you need - and it’s all fresh. The pool deck is very relaxing, great chairs to lounge, umbrellas, and a super friendly staff to help with food and drink - all of the staff members were exceptional. The rooms themselves are fine. The shower was rickety and only offered a small bottle of shampoo. The hairdryer barely turned on, when it was on it offered very little air flow. The beds were ok…. The fridge made noise all night. Small inconveniences, and overall we enjoyed our stay. Considering the price, we might try our luck elsewhere next time. Rooms could be improved considering the price.

Comfortable room. Very friendly folk. Attentive without being intrusive. Gave me suggestions on things to do as well that I asked for. Nice views on to the Kastro and sea below. Good breakfast. Pre-arrival communication. I sent a message through my booking.com reservation and didnt get a reply. Part of the charm about the place- its location a bit away from the towns can also be a downside. You definitely need a car

The view was spectacular, the breakfast was delicious, the restaurant was fantastic, the service was exceedingly kind and friendly. The pool was refreshing and the patio and bar were relaxing. I absolutely loved this place. Nothing negative to report. Just note our room did not have a TV, but honestly we did not miss it. I bring it up just as an FYI.

My Wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we were absolutely blown away by this place ! It was tucked away in this beautifully secluded area located between Apollonia and Kastro. The views were beyond incredible and the staff was so unbelievably kind and accommodating! You really felt at home at this place. The vibes were just off the charts. They even were able to help us do a small amount of laundry we needed done ! I have to mention the complimentary breakfast was probably our favorite out of the whole 4-island trip, so so so good. I would recommend this place to literally anyone who visits sifnos it really is that great ! Thank you guys so much ! Nothing !

Our stay at Gerofinikas was one of those unique experiences where, believing or not, everything was perfect. and when you thought things can't go better, they went better! They helped us get from the port city to the hotel. We were greeted with refreshing lime/mint/cucumber water. The room was spotless and very welcoming. The views were incredible. The food was great and the serving personnel was friendly and warm. There are only few rooms and no children (nothing against children, but when I plan a resting vacation, I want quiet and serene. This place was perfect. about 200 meters there is a supermarket for everything you want. it is located half way b/w downtown Apollonia (20 min easy walk) and Kastro (20 min walk). 10 min walk to Kato Petali, and also 20 min walk to Artemonas. I usually find a thing or 2 to recommend for improvement, but not here.

Gorgeous stay end to end!! Cannot recommend Gerofinikas enough!! Spyros, his mom, Vasiliki & the entire team were exceptional. Very Generous with their time and spirit. They went out of their way to make us comfortable & cared for. The truest example of impeccable hospitality. Gorgeous views, amazing restaurant, incredible breakfast each morning. In awe of this place. Hang out by the pool with beers and wine overlooking the sea, easy walk to town, trails & surrounding areas. Will return again and again!! Brava!!! We loved it all!!
