It felt so relaxing in this idyllic place. The hosts are so welcoming, informed, and their home made food is incredible. We had a wonderful room with our own bathroom and a view of Mont Saint Michel. We didn’t want to leave. Nothing!!

The hosts were amazing! Our room was clean and spacious and up to date. The gardens were spectacular too and with a view of Mont St. Michel! They also made a yummy homemade breakfast. Definitely recommend!

The property is stunning. Wish I’d booked another night! The gardens and the view of Mont Saint-Michel were incredible. Breakfast in the morning with farm fresh eggs, homemade honey, applesauce and amazing sides really made for a great start to our day. Our hosts were also lovely, efficient, made our dinner reservations and ensured we were well taken care of without hovering. The shared kitchen also had snacks and drinks for a fee, which was so convenient. Amazing stay. I’d come back again and again! Nothing to complain about. Amazing, easy to find and close drive to Mont Saint-Michel.

We spent a lovely night at Le Clos Saint-Gilles. Tatiana welcomed us to her home and showed us to our room. She made a reservation for us at a local restaurant. The bedroom was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast hosted by Thibaut. Thibaut took great pride in his home made jams and pastries and French press coffee. The gardens were truly spectacular. Do not leave this B&B without walking the gardens. With a view of Mont Saint- Michel, it is obvious the gardens are lovingly maintained and a source of pride to the family.

Huge space, owners were lovely, location is perfect for Bayeux tapestries, beaches, Museum. A very old property being saved with loving care… A privilege to stay there. Loved absolutely everything… Stayed an additional night.

Arriving at Le Clos Saint-Gilles in Ardevon was magical. Tatiana and Thibaut, wonderful and exuberant hosts, guided us through the region’s best attractions. Initially, we planned a one-night stay, but discovered its charm and decided next time to make it a destination for a longer visit. The bed and breakfast offers exceptional privacy, luxury, and sweeping views of Mont Saint-Michel Abbey. This would be ideal for an artist’s retreat, wellness workshop, or simply to rejuvenate. The tranquility of the shared space and beautiful gardens could easily sustain a week-long stay. Thibaut showed us the thoughtfully renovated areas on the property, which can be rented as separate houses. My husband and I are planning our return. We highly recommend Le Clos Saint-Gilles. That we didn't have more time! One night isn't enough...It was such a beautiful place.

Breakfast was good and the service was excellent Maybe bacon at breakfast would be good, but not a deal breaker. Everything was great.

We stayed here on our trip to see Mont St. Michel. It was located in a small little village only a few kilometers from Mont St. Michel shuttle bus service. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom attached. There was a gorgeous garden located out back for guest to use and parking on site. Our host Tatiana was wonderful and shared her sweet pets with us. We were provided a delicious breakfast that included local goods like fresh made apple juice, preserves and jams. Tatiana even shared some great insight for our visit to Mont St. Michel that made our visit a great experience. I would highly recommend this place.

Spaceous room, spotlessly clean, great decor and modern bathroom. The garden is a work of art Breakfast are made from homemade ingredients, and their cider is a must have. The hosts are beyond helpful, accommodating and genuine. Well done!

A wonderful place just a step away from the most beautiful location in Normandy! We received a very warm welcome in this guest house, the owners are very hospitable. It is obvious that it is important to them that guests feel comfortable and cozy. Our room overlooking Mont saint michelle was very clean, beautiful and spacious. The room has everything you need, the interior is nice, it is quite warm and quiet. The price of our stay included an amazing breakfast. The owner will cook you food from the products that he grows and produces himself. His own bread, jams, honey, apple puree, nuts, scrambled eggs - everything is incredibly tasty and fresh. After breakfast, we walked in the very beautiful and carefully made garden of the guest house. The owners are very nice people with whom it is interesting to communicate, they helped with advice on visiting interesting sights in Normandy, making our trip even more exciting. 10 out of 10, do not even doubt, this guest house will give you an unforgettable good experience!

Just a beautiful property. Nothing. It was magnificent!

Lodging, breakfast, and staff were all exceptional! Loved the location and the grounds, especially the garden.

This was our second stop on my wife and I’s first trip to France. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful with fresh goodies straight from the garden! It was only matched by the company and local tips we received from our host about what to do in the areas where we were headed next. The location was fantastic with views of MSM from the garden. Such an unexpected surprise! (Our tour of the garden, was led by Nova, the family dog, who was a sweetheart and showed us her favorite spots.) I simply can’t say enough good things. We were able to buy some honey and tea produced at the farm so we can keep enjoying our stay when we return home. When we come back to the area, my wife and I know where we will be staying!
