Mon Saint Michel

Very basic amenities. Poor bedding and towels.

An amazing iconic structure!! The bus to and fro from the parking lot was nice. Unfortunately it was raining while we visited but it was still enjoyable. Hard on these old knees to do all the climbing….how did the old monks do it daily?!? Haha

Very nice property and good location

I especially liked Patricia, the owner. She was so welcoming and very fabulous. She made us feel comfortable. She made us fabulous crêpes for breakfast and although we had reserved an outside room, she decided the inside room was better because my husband is tall and he would fit better in the room and in the shower. I liked its proximity to Mont Saint Michel. It was a very typical French Home.

Wanted a bigger bed or two twins. The hot water ran out after one short shower—other guest was unable to shower. No hairdryer was provided.

Patricia was a wonderful host! We loved being able to walk to the end of the road and walk the sheep pastures to view and explore MSM. Patricia fixed a delicious home cooked breakfast. She was very friendly. We loved staying away from the touristy strip yet were still a walkable distance from MSM.

We ordered Double Room with Kitchenette, however we got the different room without the kitchenette. We just noticed it after our stay. However, we were able to use the equipment in the living area (table, kettle, etc) downstairs. Another thing is about privacy. That night we were the only guests, so that was fine, however I think that if there were more people in the house (rooms for the guests are upstairs and the host lives downstairs) or if we stayed for a longer period, we would have lacked privacy. Overall, it is a good 1 night stay.

The location was wonderful in the plains surrounding Mont-St-Michel. The awesome island can be seen from the street, rising up over the water. The place is a practical base for visiting. It is relatively comfortable, although it could use a chair in the room. Decor is unique and a bit quirky. Hostess is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and it was a delightful stay.

Wonderful location and perfect for our family who needed more than 2 to a room. Breakfast was great and very complete and served by the wonderful Patricia who was very welcoming to us. Loved the sheep release in the morning too!

Host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Clean. So great seeing the sheep herd heading to the meadow in the morning. Clean, but facility and furniture old and well used.

Hot water didn’t last very long in the shower and the pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Clean. Good breakfast. #1. The name of this place is different from what it’s shown on booking.com (difficult to find the house) #2. No privacy #3. You stay at someone’s home. #4. checkout time is not correctly shown on booking.com #5. YOU MUST HAVE A CAR. (Too dangerous for non-local to walk around between the house and anywhere. There is no light and many ditch. ) there is no taxi or ride-share app in the area. #6. there is more… I think the problem is the host wrongly registered the house on booking.com. Please help the lady to update the description and business detail.

Breakfast was delicious. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet rural location, providing a fun, quiet walk to Mont Saint Michel through fields of sheep. Everything was lovely for our visit.

Patricia is a delight. She makes a yummy breakfast and makes you feel very welcome in your stay. Mon Saint Michel is literally right outside her doorstep. A perfect view from the street. We walked from her place through the fields with the sheep to the site. It was a dream. The rooms are clean and cozy. We absolutely loved our stay.

Location was excellent for visiting MSM. Patricia was an excellent host with fabulous breakfast options and peaceful location. Nothing. Everytwas fabulous.

The location to Mont Saint Michel is perfect. Patricia was wonderful. She encouraged us to walk to the Abbey at night, which was an accidental magical experience. It is one of our favorite memories from our trip. She also helped arrange for our flat tire to be fixed. Delicious breakfast with lots of variety and homemade crepes. A fan would have been helpful, which may have been available if we had asked.
