Perfect location to stay in. You can see Mont St. Michel across open fields, and it's a nice walk, maybe about a km. I can't imagine a better location. The hotel is a quiet beautiful sort of timeless classical farm building, with very pleasant helpful staff. Rooms are small but comfortable. The breakfast is a simple continental breakfast of bread and butter and coffee. The rooms have no tv, and there is no wifi, but my phone worked ok for data access. This is a terrific place to stay, the only qualification is that, if you don't have a car or a bicycle, getting food may be an issue. There is a roadside open air restaurant about 500 m away, but nowhere else to eat, except at Mont St. Michel itself, which is a decent walk. There is supposedly a bus that goes to the hotel, but it is not frequent. Taxi from the train station in Portosan is about 25 euros. Also, I had a hard time finding a convenient ATM without a car. The only one I remember was at the Post Office near the entrance of the castle at Mont Saint Michel.

Breakfast was nice, fresh products, mostly sweets. Since there is not many other options around I think it's just fine for the start of the day. There's also a lot of coffee or tea, whatever you prefer. Location is also just amazing for a beautiful walk in the nature, meander and sheeps are just 2-3 minutes away (walking distance!) and you can walk through the nature all the way to the Mont Saint Michel. Also, the host is really nice, ready to help, welcoming. When we checked out she also let us park the car and continue hiking around. I would personally suggest a lot of small changes that could improve the quality of the stay. There is no towel for hands in the rooms, towel for feet, no shampoo or any kind of shower gel, no slippers or a place to leave dirty shoes after hiking the whole day. And don't get me wrong, I don't expect 5 star service, this is something that wouldn't add extra cost of more than 1-2 euros per night and would be greatly appreciated because you cannot bring everything with you.

The staff was very helpful, and the location was marvelous. A place so quiet and close to Mont Saint Michel. An excellent place to be without too much tourism. The sheep were fantastic because this place is actually a farm. Very nice! It is a farmer, you have to be used on it.

Nice hostess, good location for exploring Mont S.Michel. Very snall room, no storage space, no wardrobe. Fit for sleep only

Location to My St Michel Hot summer day and 4 of these rooms are on the second floor with no AC….1 window in the room opens up and the sheep flies come in. Hard to sleep in a hot room.
