What a pleasant stay! Very clean and quiet and quaint. Always love Ashland.
-
It's a very conveniently located--if older--hotel. The room was comfortable and reasonably well maintained. Quite good for the price.
-
Great location to the Shakespeare Festival and downtown area. But this is an older, dark hotel with Motel 6 like rooms for well over $300/night. Just not a good quality to price ratio. Strongly suggest the hotel across the street which was about $120/night cheaper with much more light and was much newer

Great

Great location within 5 min walk from the park, the theaters and lots of restaurants. Good breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff. Highly recommend.
-
Walls and floors too thin.
-
Very nice! Very professional staff. Good location. If you have a big dog it is fine. Our Collie loved it.
-
Great location, breakfast was terrific, and it was nice to have the swimming pool and hot tub.
-
Comfy beds and a great property, all around. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the pool. The location was perfect for roaming easily into town.
-
Room was clean, staff very pleasant. Breakfast options ok.

No staff from 11:00p- 7:00a. Seemed odd. The king suite room was tired and soul-less.

We requested housekeeping after the first night, which only amounted to replacing used bath towels and mat. There is K cup coffee maker which came with only enough cups for one morning and housekeeping didn’t bother to replenish them. Nor did they replace the empty facial tissue box. Yet there’s a an envelope in the room for the possibility that you’ll leave a tip. If you choose to stay here I’d recommend making sure your room is part of the section so access to the lobby is easily accessible.

Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location. Room was clean, but on the smaller side. We were on the ground floor and could hear footsteps from the upper unit so we slept with earplugs.
-
Clean room near the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Nice breakfast & easy parking.
-
Location to downtown and OSF was excellent. Bed had a slope and mattress needed to be replaced. Pillows were small and uncomfortable. Air conditioner was loud and kept me awake most of the night.
-
I made a mistake and did not reserve the type of room we usually get and the staff upgraded me for free. We frequently stay at Bards for the convenience of walking around down town and around Lithia Park. Great location!

Great location and friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast buffet. The mattress was really really uncomfortable. I'm not picky when it comes to sleep. Honestly, it was the worst mattress I've ever slept on. In hindsight, I should have requested a different room. For an expensive hotel, you can sure tell that they don't update the rooms. Musty carpet smell, old warped floors, etc. Sorry to say, I will stay somewhere else next time.

Very good

Affordable. Nice staff. Clean. Above average breakfast ( it’s says Continental, but there are eggs and a pancake machine!) A/C works and the fan creates a moderate white noise for sleep, which we appreciate.

I did not realize that there are multiple properties. Unfortunately we got a room at the older property. The room smelled musty and we were in a bad location with a lot of foot traffic. The bathroom door was hard to close because door frame is broken.
