Golden View Beach Hotel

For the price, the hotel is outstanding! It was really well maintained and REALLY clean. The rooms were pretty basic, but comfortable and functioned well. The breakfast buffet is not the best, but was included in my reservation. The staff was great, especially the front desk ladies- they were so sweet to me :) The true standout was the incredible view from my room and the perfect beach setting. The location was great too. Easy walkability to multiple restaurants & beaches in the area, and a 5 euro cab ride into town. The room decor was dated, but for the price and the view, I had no complaints. Everything functioned well, with GREAT AC. The view more than made up for the room decor.

- The view from the rooms is amazing. Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves and waking up to the sight of the bay is beyond heavenly. - The restaurant has a diverse menu and a nice kitchen with both local and international food. - The nice, sandy, cosy beach is literally metres away from the exit. By no means the fault of the hotel, but getting into the town you need to take a ten-ish minute walk a poorly public road without a sidewalk. It isn't really dangerous, but travellers with small children better take a taxi from town. (It is quite inexpensive.)

Super location in a beautiful calm bay, very close to nice high quality local restaurants. Perfect resourcing holiday!

The fabulous sea views and great swimming. We chose B&B, but the breakfasts were pretty basic, although there was a variety. Hand held shower over the bath.

The hotel has a superb location overlooking Askeli Beach and has a private area with sunbeds and drinks and food service. The reception bar and dining areas are spacious, well laid out and, again, have a wonderful view over the bay. Every person in the team were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The shower in our bathroom did not have a high wall mount, so was essentially a handheld shower, and was not easy to use.

If there was a coffee machine in the room it would have made the experience even better.

Right on the beach, clean waters. Spotless hotel and friendly staff. The beach is too busy, too loud. The hotel room didn’t have a kettle with tea and coffee options.
