It is a matter of preference, but I really liked the facility. After being in major tourists cities of Paris, Venice and Florence, it was very refreshing to be away from the noise, chaos, and crowds. B & B Cantico was very refreshing and relaxing, and I wish I could have stayed longer. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and personally served. Our host was very attentive. The facility was very close to the historic, medieval St. Damian Convent where Saint Clara of Assisi lived and died. We visited St. Damian and, being Catholic, attended mass. It was very powerful and moving. It was a very difficult uphill hike to walk to the town of Assisi. Of course, it is a matter of perspective. As a 65-year-old, it was a challenge, but I saw it as pilgrimage to the historic town of Assisi. We encountered other "pilgrims" on our way. It kind of felt like a mini "Way to Santiago de Compostela." I did not see any convenient access to public transportation.

We loved everything about Cantico Delle Creature. The wonderful hosts could not have done any more to welcome us and make us feel at home. We were walking Coast to Coast and had chosen Assisi as our first rest day so we felt very happy to spend 2 nights in this beautiful B and B. Being English we were overjoyed to find we had a kettle in our room, and a selection of tea (the first on our trip)! We enjoyed learning about the locality from our lovely hosts. Cantico Delle Creature is in a peaceful location below the city, close to San Damiano, and a tranquil place to rest out of the bustle of the city. The garden is full of birdsong. We weren't able to use the pool as it was still closed season, but it looked lovely. Thank you so much, we really appreciated our stay with you.

A bit of a hike downhill from Assisi, and bus stops infrequently--we didn't mind but it is something to bear in mind if walking long distances is a challenge.

Breakfast and location were excellent Nothing

very nice and friendly owner, staff. very clean. very beautiful environment. The house also have a backwalk (a small road with steps) leading to the main road/city center. It is also a very beautiful walk. We got there when it was already dark (not as originally planned). It took a little effort to find the place (we did not have data roaming -- would be good to have).

Great B&B next to San Damiano. Assisi is approximately 1 km away, so you can easily walk to the city but be aware that this is a steep climb. Breakfast was really great. And we enjoyed swimming in the pool during siesta time! Great view from swimming pool area into the valley. Having to shower in a bath tub with a shower head that could not be put upright.

Place was very charming, clean and amazing location. The people who run the place are very warming and welcoming. They were always checking if we were doing ok. Highly recommend it, beautiful place if you want to visit Assisi

Best if you have a car as going into Assisi is a bit of a hike otherwise.

A beautifully located house at the foot of San Damiano. Peaceful. Quiet. Stunning view. Generous breakfasts. Quick staff response to requests. Friendly atmosphere.

Very nice location close but outside of the Assisi historical center.
-
Wonderful, friendly staff and a comfy, warm room, with a cozy bed. And the breakfast is lovely! I’ll definitely book again. The location is peaceful & quiet down below Assisi & Perfevt for going to San Damiano church. Peaceful & calm atmosphere.

Beautiful location close to the main town of Assisi with parking. We were short on time so drove into Assisi town but there is a walking path close by. We were greeted by the hosts on arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning from our friendly hosts. We wish we had stayed a bit longer to fully enjoy the surrounding views! We enjoyed everything about our stay

Excellent location, beautiful area, friendly staff, and nice, clean room. Tee making facilities. The bad was too soft for me. The shower corner with the curtain was not very comfortable to me.
-
Wonderful hospitality! Quiet location right next to San Damiano. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay here. Everything worked well, and was comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, just because we could get eggs and bacon! Our only complaint is that we booked a king bed, but got two twin beds next to each other. We slept well anyway, but definitely not the same as advertised.
