Тонкие стены, слышно, что делают другие в коридоре, немного все устаревшее

Not my first time staying at the One Hotel Astana and sure isn’t my last. Everything was perfect as usual.

Location is good enough - not very far from the center. Room is really spaciously and comfortable. Good soundproof. Nice view! Restaurant is just perfect, magnificent cuisine. Staff is really friendly! None

What I liked: the size of the room, doesnt matter classic or a higher class - both were generously sized. Beds were quite comfortable. The staff is friendly. I am really sorry to give this rating because the manager of the hotel did everything to improve my user experience. Unfortunately at the end what counts is the quality of the sleep and as a Northern European I can say that sleeping in that hotel is not possible. 2 sleepless nights there after a long business trip was a devastating experience. Rooms are super warm, maybe more than +25 inside (outside +23 and all batteries are on:) ) even after batteries were switched off. I was staying there 2 nights and after the 1st night I wanted to change the hotel but after all efforts of the staff decided to give another chance. There is an airco in the room but oh boy that device blows uncontrollably on one speed only - sleeping with it blowing to your head will also be a hard task to do:) what I found weird that the air it cools down gets warm again very fast - I guess because other rooms around are super warm too. Btw keeping windows open brings a lot of noise from a busy road nearby so also hardens the sleeping experience. Window view - is far from the picture they post - maybe one room has it, but the majority not. In general the room seemed clean, I would advise to check the cleanliness of the plates that are brought to the room as a room service. My coffee arrived with someones hair on the plate. Hotel restaurant kitchen is not good. Half of their menu are bowls, and I thought wow this is something they should be good in. Avoid it. I took one with salted salmon and had a belly pain after. My partners took duck - overbaked. I took chocolate fondant - got muffin = overbaked, I returned it. The 2nd one was good though. Ended up ordering yandex food the last night, when usually I use room service for that. Breakfast and queuing for coffee is another experience.

Poor lighting in the rooms and common areas

Very good hotel, with nice rooms. Facilities are solid, even if the internet is sometimes a little slow. Overall I can recommend it. The hotel is somewhat close to the centre - and easy to get to via taxi. Its a harder to get to via walking, but I doubt that is major problem for almost anyone!

Hotel was clean and well-appointed with modern rooms. But -- would highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay. I have never experienced such terrible service in a hotel. If you go to the reception desk to ask a question, no matter how many staffers were at the desk, they would completely ignore you and look at their phones or just wander off. For example, when we first arrived, we realized our (king bed) room had only one towel. We asked for another so that we could both take showers. After 3 trips to reception, and 3 calls, more than 2 hours later we still had not received a second towel. We were there for 3 nights, and the room was only refreshed once -- I would have expected at least basic servicing each day, unless stated otherwise. Generally I don't think this hotel is interested in hospitality or serving guests, which is a surprising position for a hotel.

Room was spacious. Servicing of room could have been better. It was mostly only done when we requested it. We didn’t need beds changed daily but checking things like water, toilet paper etc and cleaning of bathroom are usually done daily while you are out, Breakfast and restaurant is overpriced.

Exceptional

the view, the spacious room. Room cleaning was good, quiet airco. We didn’t got any information at the check-in, only our room card key that we had to update every evening we came back to the hotel, which was annoying. Two small water bottles were given every day, besides that, there was no drinking water available, which was not enough. The balcony didn’t looked safe.

It’s a very good exceptional hotel and the location is good close to the centre of Astana Sometimes the power went off, but this is just a problem in Kazakhstan I believe

Excellent location, parking place, comfortable bed, great view. If you need to rest, you are at the right place! Most of TV (international) channels were not tuned. The food menu at the restaurant can be revised
