Clean and nice place in Astana, friendly people It was difficult to find space to take a shower because there were so many people; I think that's the only bad thing.

The hostel is very clean. The bathrooms are always spotless. Staff member Azhar is fluent in English and especially helpful.

The staff was amazing, particularly Azhar and Yasmina who were very friendly and spoke perfect English. They help me with recommendation and other guidance to make my stay perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped, there’s a small lounge area and there’s a desk where I was able to work. The whole place is very clean.

Everything related to the property was very good but there was no ventilation in the room. The windows didn’t open and air conditioning was not operating. Even though it was cold out, any type of ventilation would have been appreciated as it got really stuffy during the night. There was also one man who would not stop staring at me the entire time I was there. Just blatantly staring right at me! Some times I even tried to make eye contact to show him that I’m noticing his stare and instead of looking away or averting his eyes, he just continued staring! That made me quite uncomfortable in the common area. I’ve attached a photo of this person, although it’s from the back.

I must admit that I didn't expect this much, but it's beyond my expectations; everything was excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you are traveling alone, you won't have to pay much for your stay because it's reasonably priced and in a great location. Nothing

The hostel seems to be about half travelers and half locals, who I think are on extended, long-term stays. It's not super social but it's pleasant enough. I will note that they do allow children, and at the time of my stay, there were 2 in the dorm with me.

I loved this hostel and Alex was very helpful

The staff were pretty nice and helpful. They all spoke English, which is really convenient. Facilities were clean, there was a kitchen, washing machine and everything you need. One thing I didn't like was the people that are staying at the hostel. They are all locals working in the city. They are pretty noisy in the evening, making it difficult to fall asleep. Walls are also pretty thin, so you can hear everything.

Everything about this hostel exceeded my expectations. I booked last minute, arrived thirty minutes later, before the check in time, and the staff did not even say a thing. Quite the opposite, they greeted me with smiles and even gave me a tour of the hostel! The hostel itself is extremely well organized, clean, and has everything you would want out of a hostel. The bedrooms have two lockers, one under the bed and another near the entrance. The locker near the entrance is very spacious, has dividers for your belongings, a place to hang a backpack or clothes, and an outlet to safely charge your devices while not in use. The bed and pillow was very comfortable, the sheets were comfy and clean, and I loved that each bed has a curtain, outlet, shelf, and lights. As for the rest of the hostel, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook, the dinning area and two common areas are nice, and the bathroom / showers are great. As for location, there is a supermarket less than 20m away, a bus stop around 100m away, and the city center is around a 15 minute walk. Bonus - Every three days you can wash your clothes for free! There is also free tea!! Also, Sanzhar was a highlight of my stay, what a funny guy! Nothing!
