Staff, location, clean , price Nothing

Close to the river and the view of river from the 8th floor To start the pictures don’t do justice if this place it’s little less modern than expected I have to say the beds were really stiff no spring tension I developed lower back pain. The cleanliness was not there the phone had dust on the handle the AC controller looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all. For what I paid it was not worth it.

All staff were helpful, let we say that this hotel is amazing comparing to the price was fair enough for me , I liked the vibes there , and the most important thing that I care about is the room cleanliness was quite good ,the breakfast is good and we asked them to arrange breakfast boxes for us because we had an excursion to Abu Simple Nothing

Nice view I don’t usually write reviews, but this seemed like a rare case where silence would be irresponsible. I booked a Deluxe room at Nile Hotel. Shortly after arrival, I discovered that both the air-conditioning and Wi-Fi were not working. Annoying, but manageable, until I tried to leave the room and realized the door handle on the inside was missing! The door could not be opened. I was, quite literally, locked in. I travel frequently (Genius Level 3, if that means anything), and it takes a lot for me to feel unsafe. Being trapped alone as a solo female traveller in a hotel room with no working Wi-Fi qualifies. Fortunately, I had mobile internet and after some trials and errors managed to contact reception. Two staff members arrived… and managed to get themselves locked in with me! We were eventually rescued by a third person, which at that point felt less like hospitality and more like an escape room! I was moved to another room, which was decidedly not Deluxe. As an apology, reception sent fruit and beer, which was a thoughtful gesture, and I was about to let it go, when I discovered the new room was visibly dirty! Black hairs (not mine) were everywhere, the bathroom was unclean. Ironically, the new room also missed a door handle, this time on the outside! See photos. It was past midnight, and I did not have the energy for another round of negotiations, so I did what any guest apparently must: cleaned the room myself and tried to sleep. In the morning, I calmly asked for a refund of the price difference between the Deluxe room I paid for and the one I actually received. Reception first suggested marking my stay as a “no show” to avoid paying taxes and commission to Booking.com. I declined. They then offered to compensate me but ONLY if I agreed to leave a positive review! At that point, the issue became principle. When I book through Booking.

We had an early flight and did not stay for breakfast. The host did provide a box breakfast. I would agree with another recent reviewer who indicated that the facility was a good budget hotel. Not perfect, but in keeping with standards for Egypt. Those who are accustomed to staying in better American or European hotels will be disappointed. The facility was reasonably clean (cleanliness in Egypt is partly a function of small particle dust control). We experienced no evidence of street noise. Other review complaints about noise may be Ramadan-related. View from roof top is truly awesome. We would not use the rooftop restaurant again. It took an hour to be served and then items were served piecemeal. food tasted OK, however. There were five in our party, in two rooms. 4 of the beds were good but the other was like sleeping on a thin pad on the floor. Hard mattress over continuous bed slats. We had to remove three slates from strategic points, use the extra blankets as additional padding and then wrap up in the regular blanket - both top and bottom - to avoid feel of the harsh blankets. When wind blew off river the terrace door kept coming open, solved by suitcase in front. No luggage stands to open suitcases on.

It was an amazing and kind staff. The view of the Nile is wonderful and they have a café where live music is played at night.

Hospitality, location. Wifi is not available.

Everything was more than perfect, location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness- Breakfast was very nice and egg live station was great/ fresh fruits and bakeries Nothing at all!

The location is very good and the view is amazing! The hotel staff are very friendly particularly the two young adults in the reception, a girl and a boy -they were lovely. They offered to pack our breakfast for a very early tour we had. Breakfast is not good, the one day they packed it for us it was ok but next day that we went to the restaurant it was disappointing - that definitely needs an upgrade. WiFi is not great but that seems to be a problem in all hotels in Egypt.
