The service was absolutely incredible. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is Michelin star quality and the piano player during dinner is a nice touch. We also loved the little library and plentiful sitting areas, as well as the champagne at check in. We loved being able to make fresh French press coffee from our room and the little baked goods and note from the manager. The carpets need to be cleaned or replaced in the hallways of the guest rooms and in the guest rooms. They smell.

This property offers amazing location, view, service, room and food. My favorite point were beautiful room with hot spring bath right in the room bathtub, meals which were cooked/prepared with perfection, and kind staff members who are ready to help me any moment. Highly recommended None

Grand Bach exceeded our expectations, the views are fabulous, the food is beyond excellent, the in-room hot spring bath was most enjoyable and clean. If you have to find faults, it will be the room was a bit smaller than expected for the price. The room was a bit damp because the hot spring steam vapour. But the price-inclusive dinner and breakfast was the “best” that we ever had in Japan….

The restaurant was excellent (meals and wine) with a beautiful panorama view and piano music (for instance from Bach:). Our room was large, also with a nice view and had all amenities (coffee, tea, juices, beer, good sweeties). The stuff was excellent and friendly - perfect! We also enjoyed the in-room onsen bath very much. nothing
