Central Athens Hotel

Excellent view from rooftop, Near metro Breakfast Good options, unfortunately wife could not find some protein to her liking, boiled eggs not fully done, bacon not fully done

Location was perfect in Plaka. Amenities were convenient. Would stay here again. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Also loved the rooftop. Nothing I didn't like. It was an ideal spot to stay.

The location was really good. I stayed there for one night and I could walk to places like acropolis, flea market, metro station. The staff was good. I informed them that I’m on my honeymoon and they put a small soft toy and a card in the room for us. Breakfast was not at all good. The eggs were cold. For the room, the chair was stained, washroom was very small and not clean. There was very little space to open our luggage.

The staff was friendly, the view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant was spectacular and the hotel was truly "central" to everywhere we wanted to explore. The breakfast was wonderful. The only thing I can think of is there was only one coffee machine that took time make a coffee so people had to wait in line, but otherwise no complaints at all!

Location. Food in the restaurant was good. Hotel staff, restaurant staff very unfriendly, especially Serena in the Thia restaurant. You would think if you are a business dealing with "hospitality" that the staff would be just a little more friendly and helpful. Also I paid prior to our arrival for an upgraded our room. We did get a balcony however the view was very disappointing. No reason to use the balcony. The room was not worth the upgrade. I would never recommend the Central Hotel

from the roof garden you can see the Acropolis and have a drink. the breakfast was very good with a wide selection to cover most tastes and preferences. in the room, they advertise tea/coffee service, but they give you paper cups and on 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets - then you are on your own.

Location and view of the Acropolis (from our room AND form the rooftop bar). Surrounded by great places to eat. Close enough to the Plaka activities, bur in a quiet street. The showeer could be more comfortable.

Plaka, Monastraki, Ermou street and syntagma are 3 to 5 minutes away on feet Breakfast is sumptuous Rooms are clean Staff is welcoming and helpful

The location was perfect. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Counter & floors lacked proper attention.

Excellent location right in the middle of the city. I had a room facing a pretty church courtyard that was nice and quiet and had a nice side view of the acropolis which was awesome. Room was comfortable.

Book in the bathroom was very loose. Notified front desk. It was promptly fixed and not until I informed them. Wonder how long it needed repair?

It was clean & ample room.The proximity to Plaka & close to the Acropolis. There were no negatives about the property.
