Elikon Hotel

Clean room, comfortable bed. Stairs. My wife and I are in our seventies and struggled getting our baggage up and down the stairs.

Stayed here between a late flight that got in after midnight and taking a ferry out of the city the next day. They made a late check in possible, and low my husband to check in earlier when he arrived separately (even though he had not booked the room and it was in my name). Very accommodating and kind staff. Room and bathroom especially are quite small. This is an efficiency hotel to be sure. Worked great for us, just good to know what you are getting so you know if it will suit your particular needs.

This is a 2 star hotel, nothing fancy, but for this price we had everything we needed. The beds were really soft and comfortable. The staff stored our luggage and were really nice. One more mirror in the room and some more counter space in the bathroom would be nice.

Great location, busy during the day but pretty quiet at night. 20 minute walk to acropolis and ancient agora and Lots of cool things to see on your way there. Great food in the area as well.

The hotel notified me in the last minute / in the morning of my check-in date that my room will not be available due to some accident and they will swap me to another hotel. I was traveling and arrived the hotel in the evening to find out what i could do. The alternative hotel they offered across the street was in a very poor condition (old and beaten down). They told me to either accept the other hotel or they will cancel my reservation and pay me back. Is this the way how a guest should be treated? As i refused to accept the hotel which is not in the similar condition as what i have paid for. They agreed to have me to stay in that problem room, which has bathroom ceiling leaking and was just repaired and not supposed to have anyone stayed in there. Anyway what else i can do at late night on a trip? Sleeping on the street? At the end of the day, i still got charged full amount for my stay. The hotel refused for any refund or compensation for all the inconvenience and how they have treated their guest.

the location is great, near shops, restaurant, and metro. Although a bit dark at night but I feel safe, we do our laundry at 10 pm near hotel. the staff is superb, help us with our luggage, and medical info. We also can leave our luggage a few days during our island hopping. some of the room is a bit packed for the 3 of us, but the last room on the first floor is bigger, so its convenient to open our luggage there are few steps to the hotel and to the lift. But the staff will help you with your luggage.

Room was comfortable, location was convenient to metro, restaurants, etc., staff was very helpful. Just be cautious as the hot water is very hot.
