the location was amazing, everything was walkable and only 15min to reach the Acropolis! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Felt very comfortable during my week there!

This hotel has great air-conditioning and nice bathroom facilities. Everything was exceptionally clean. The staff is warm and helpful. The location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The second bed for our daughter worked very well.

The rooms are a bit over priced

Nice location and rooms. Nice bar/restaurant. I don’t like it when you try to check in early and they say the room isn’t ready however I asked them before arrival for an early check in as I was there for work so wanted to fresh up so when I mentioned my written request they accommodated my request. Then at check out there was confusion about tourist tax which I am sure I paid while booking the room and still get charged at check out.

We loved our room which was in the part with the elevator since we were on a 16 day vacation and had 2 full size suitcases and 1 carryon. The hotel was within a few blocks of many shops and restaurants. It was a very safe and nice walk to and from the Acropolis which is a MUST see! The hotel desk clerk and the locals were all very kind and helpful. It is worth staying at The Residence Aiolou Hotel & Spa! The drive from where the ship docked to near the hotel the graffiti is really bad and had us both concerned. I had read that parts of Athens can be dangerous, but this part of the city where the hotel was is really safe. It's just like any massive city is what it comes down to.

Good breakfast Friendly staff Bathroom (the shower/bath) was not well conceived. When taking a shower, the whole bathroom was wet because there was nothing to separate the area. The curtains were therefore also wet, 1st floor windows to the side street. Not the best.

Good geography to the placa. Estafonia and Ellie provided the most exquisite service during our stay! They were so attentive to our every need. It was a joy seeing their smiling faces each morning at breakfast! Please extend our gratitude to them. The rest of the staff were excellent as well. We were in the older building that had a musty smell. The outside traffic noise was hideous as we were right on the busy street. The advertised photos did not portray the reality. We were there for 9 days and wished we did not stay that long, at this hotel that is. The recycling containers were right outside our room and the din was constant and jarring. Our nerves were jangled by the time we left. We asked to be moved to the newer building, especially since we we there fir 9 days, but they couldn’t. We looked for another place to move to but no other hotels had openings. Won’t be coming back. A case of over promising and under delivering. There was a decrepit, condemned building right outside our window that we had to look at the whole time.

The sound proof windows made it very quiet despite the street noise. Communication with the hotel leading up to my stay was excellent. The welcome fruit plate was lovely. We didn't get any information on the breakfast or the spa during check in or in our room so we didn't know about those amenities. The size of the room made it tough to move around for two people and two suitcases. There was no way to not disturb the other one.

Nothing is included, all the saunas are extra charge.. filled like a lay what the place offers as facilities

You're amazing employee at the front desk. She was amazing and hospitable.

We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable, modern amenities and everything you would need from a hotel. The staff were helpful in every way possible.
-
No elevator Poor breakfast, we had to pay for coffee
-
Our room only had a bath tub with a hose attachment. Would have preferred a shower. Couldn't get very warm water either.

Beautifully designed. Very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Fantastic and helpful staff. Our room had a beautiful patio. Good location but very close to the area was a lot of graffiti. Our room was a bit small for luggage organization.
