The hotel is located on a pedestrian street in the heart of the Manastirki area, so we could easily reach all the important sites by walking or using the metro. While the street could be noisy until late at night, we had the doors to the balcony shut most of the time due to the outside temperature so the street sounds did not bother us. The staff was very helpful, even repairing the zipper on my backpack.

Staff were great! Location was excellent. Two of the rooms had stairs that led to a loft where the bed was. The ceiling was so low that I could not stand up, the stairs did not have a railing and it was difficult to get up or down. The description of the room did not state this. I would not have chosen those rooms.

Very old, very unconfortable shower. Outdated very different than pictures

Beautiful stylish hotel, rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The location was wonderful for walking around. The rooms were spacious even a smaller room. Staff was exceptional. The night club below was pretty loud until super late. Didn’t know that was there when booking. (Had a child with me so it was a bit disruptive to sleep). The paint was chipping and we had some minor issues in our room but the staff did address right away.

The Emporikon Athens Hotel was the perfect home base for our family while exploring Athens. The location could not have been better- we were within walking distance of the Acropolis, Plaka, Monastiraki Square, restaurants, shopping, and everything we wanted to see. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a charming boutique feel. We especially appreciated being able to step outside and immediately be immersed in the energy and history of Athens. The only minor drawback was that the lively city-center location could be a bit noisy at times, but that is to be expected when staying in the heart of Athens. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

We were able to choose a room at the back of the hotel that was very quiet despite the busy area the hotel is located in. We had great service and support from the staff. Additionally, the room was adorable and comfortable.

A great central location. A great place walk and to take public transportation to explore Athens. The staff is great, very helpful. The WiFi required repeated logins and did not automatically reconnect when we returned to the property.

Location was perfect. Cute boutique hotel…a little older than other places we have stayed but felt authentic for Athens. Nice view of Acropolis and has a small balcony which was nice! NA

Amazing view and excellent service.

Best location. Room was fantastic. Staff were excellent. Vicky was the best. There are hundreds of restaurants just outside the door. Acropolis views from Room balcony was amazing. Everything was walking distance to Monastraki, Plaka, Syntagma Square. No issues with air conditioning or hot water

Wonderful staff. Very helpful

The location was very central — it felt like staying right in the heart of the city. The check-in/check-out process and the staff were very kind and attentive. However, we think the rooms need renovation. The furniture is old and not very well maintained. Even though we stayed on an upper floor, it could still be a bit noisy at night and early in the morning.

Location was great. Staff were helpful and even made our transfer reservations. TV didn't have any English speaking channels. Stairs to bedroom needs a handrail for safety.

Streets were very narrow for the amount of people out and about.
