Reviews

The location is excellent and the view from the roof terrace is spectacular. The room is small and basic.

The location is great, very close to the Acropolis in a quaint little neighborhood. The room was fine, very basic, but clean. The staff was not particularly helpful, bordering on rude when we tried to grab a little breakfast a bit early since we had a tour to meet. Wi-fi did not work consistently or really at all. The "rooftop terrace overlooking the Acropolis" was just a bunch of old chairs and tables on a concrete slab. Did not get breakfast b/c it does not start until 730am and many tours start prior,

Breakfast was decent and provided everything needed.

Location of the hotel. Climbing three flights of steps with luggage in tow.

Stayed here in the 1980’s. It’s by far the best location. N/A

Very helpful staff. Great location very near to shops/restaurants. Short walks to major sites. Loved the rooftop patio with great views of the city and Acropolis. Very nice breakfast offerings.

Uncomfortable mattress on bed.

Great location in Athens Breakfast was skimpy for the price. Chose to eat elsewhere
-
The terrace view of the Acropolis and closeness to it, food and shops are its best features. We were one of the few there, booked way ahead and could not get early check in. It seemed possible. The floor was dirty on the edges.

The view from the hotel veranda is amazing. It's in the city center and we walked everywhere.

Amazing location, great view, Usable veranda, friendly staff.

The location is amazing. Walking distance to everything within 5-15 minutes. Many yummy restaurants, cafes, and shopping around. The rooftop terrace is incredible. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable for a few nights stay. Great breakfast in the morning too. Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Older property, but that is expected for the location. Kept clean and well maintained.

The beds could have been a little softer.

Location. Roof top. Balcony Very small room.

The breakfast has enough variety and the staff are extremely helpful. They generously lent me much needed converters. The location is in the city center and so convenient to everything, but very quiet. And you can see the acropolis from the roof. There are many good restaurants and souvenirs stores nearby. In general, it is very satisfactory stay.

In the bathroom there was a constant unpleasant odor which the staff tried to cover with a plastic lid over the drainage. Still the odor was so strong that it didn't help much. The breakfast staff was rude. Some guests asked for some extra eggs, as they were finished already but the request was denied. Overall the breakfast was not good, there were only few choices. Coffee was dulited as well as the juices. So if you stay here I'd skip the breakfast altogether and grab something at the local cafes. Regarding the shower, it takes quite some time until the water is hot and from time to time you get a blast of cold water. My guess is that some else flushed the toilet and it reduced the water pressure. Entertainment is out of scope as the TV is super small and you will only watch Greek TV. Don't expect a smart TV where you can connect your Netflix account. The internet is not working properly. The connection is intermittent. You might have to use your own cell phone data.
