Booking cancelled this for me it’s very bad different from pictures

Nothing at all! Everything was terrible!! The worst place we ever stayed in our life! It doesn’t look like the photos at all! The second we went in the room we were hit by a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It was so strong we had to sleep with the balcony door open and even after the night the smell never faded! Everything was disgusting: the bedsheets had huge stains, the towels and hairs on them and even the walls had stains! The location is full of junkies and the streets are full of trash. The elevator walls are shattered. The door to the rooms doesn’t have a handle even. You can hear every other guest in your floor and every time someone opened the door. It would be better to sleep on a bench in the airport.

Bathroom was the worse. It was an old outdated bathroom with no shower curtain and smelled bad. TV didn't work and when I asked the worker about it he said he would send someone to fix the problem and no one ever came. The hotel is located in a run down area of Athens. Was there for 3 nights and no one ever came to clean the room.

There is no seat or cover on the toilet bowl, so you have direct contact with the ceramic. Talk to the front desk, and he tells you all rooms are the same. Please warn alll future guests to bring their own toilet seat so they can sit on it. The toilet bowl

Cleaning would be nice

As a tourist, I understand that expectations for a 2‑star hotel should be modest. However, when choosing a property based on photos provided on Booking, it is disappointing to encounter a reality that is entirely different. The explanation offered was that some photos are outdated and/or that the bathroom shown is available only in two rooms, which were already occupied. This raises concerns about the accuracy of the information presented and highlights the need for more consistent oversight to ensure guests are not misled.

My whole experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. The only thing positive I could say was maybe the location as it was close to the center Despite having a confirmed and prepaid booking, I was informed upon arrival that no room was available for me, even after notifying the hotel in advance about my delayed flight. I was then taken to an alternative property in an unsafe and noisy area, with accommodation that was far below acceptable standards. After refusing to stay there and expressing my concerns, a room suddenly became available at the original hotel. Unfortunately, the room was not clean, with rubbish still left in the bin. Overall, the experience was highly unprofessional, stressful, and left me feeling unsafe after a long journey.

Bugs and dangerous neighborhood

This was by far one of the most disgusting hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was filthy from the moment I walked in. There were strange splatters on the walls, and the sheets were visibly stained — clearly not cleaned or replaced. The floor in the bedroom had what appeared to be dried bodily fluids, which was absolutely revolting. The bathroom was equally horrifying: pubic hair left on the counter, random stains, and an overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes and urine — in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room. To make matters worse, there were exposed electrical wires sticking out of the wall in the bedroom, creating a serious safety hazard.

It was cheap, towels and bathroom were decent. Doors lock well. It was dirty, bugs were everywhere. Sketchy looking street that didn’t feel very safe.

It has an elevator, it is clean and has a bar. The price quoted online isn't real. I had to pay an extra $80 upon arrival.
