We thought the hotel was excellent and excellent value for money. The staff was just superb. The breakfast after 8 am or so apparently was really good. We felt safe at all times, but you need to be aware that the neighborhood has a bad reputation for Athens. Petty crime, migrants and occasionally worse. Especially single women late at night should only use the main roads where there are lots of people until late if they don’t take a taxi right to the door. The dark side roads (which we didn’t visit) seemed quite sketchy. We arrived between 930 pm and 10pm and felt safe, but we were two people and only walked on the main roads. It’s not like Rio were outsiders are shot but it is an area where crimes do happen, especially when you give people the opportunity.

Great place , provides all you need , the staff are very helpful. Mainly the area is a bit rough round the edges but on ten minute walk your on the way to Monisteraki and Omonia

Breakfast and staff Room - I reserved a superior twin with a balcony - but my room had no balcony and looked like a dungeon

The neighborhood is not one of the city's more upscale or scenic areas, but I found people to be respectful and did not feel harassed. Travelers who prioritize location and atmosphere may want to research the area beforeh is

Good location. Seemed average Seemed cheap in a bad way.

Very nice

It was ok.

Location is good but environment is kind of ghetto

Breakfast was amazing and staff was so kind and extremely helpful! Service was amazing with just about everything. Price was great as well. Definitely the WiFi could have been slightly better especially for travelers but everything was exquisite outside of this minimal thing.

Breakfast Location

Kind of sketchy neighborhood. One night just one block over, I saw a man on the sidewalk doing drugs with a needle in his arm. I wouldn’t want my daughter staying here.

The shower was always a mess

It was quite close to the hop on hop off buses. The breakfast was good. It was very shabby and the carpet in my room was dirty. The shower was so old.

We were able to book 3 rooms with king-size beds! Breakfast was included. Close to restaurants and places we wanted to go to. Staff was friendly. Beds were hard and close to the floor. The neighborhood wasn’t one I’d want to be out in at night.

The hotel is in a good location near Omonia square where one can get hop on hop off buses. George on reception was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is old and my room had a very stained carpet and sad looking bathroom which needed to be replaced. The street it was on was seedy and had very uneven pavements.

That was my second stay in this hotel and I liked it. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was really good. And the neighbourhood feels much safer that it was few years ago.

Hotel was im bad neighborhood.

It was close to Monistiraki and lots of good restaurants. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was sufficient. The hotel is in a tough-looking area. The room was only moderately clean and the full size bed was two singles placed next to each other (i.e., I slept in a crevasse all night).
