- The breakfast was above expectations!!! The "Deluxe" room we reserved was minuscule and the shelves on the wall are in the way.

We booked this last minute for my son & friend due to a hotel mix-up. We weren't expecting much, but the room was really great! There isn't a front desk, but someone was there with keys. The room was huge and clean, and in a great location. it was fine

location was a little weird but once we got inside it was cute. The water in the shower randomly got scorching hot with no cold water. so that wasn't fun. lots of stairs- no elevator

The room was comfortable, had nice amenities, extra toiletries, slippers, wine, water etc. The location is on one of the prettiest squares in Plaka. Fabulous landscaping with large trees and lots of beautiful birds. Very natural in Athens. Breakfast was delicious and our Albanian host is so helpful and hard working. Wifi was barely working and when we messaged the property, they gave us a dif Wifi to use. That worked well.

We didn't like anything. The hotel, if it could be called that was terrible. The hotel pictures were nothing like what the hotel was. I booked 2 rooms, 1 for 2 adults and a child, and the other for 2 adults. The room that would sleep 3 had a extremely dirty loveseat, that would not fit a 5 year old child, much less my 13 year old son. There is no check in, you have to walk to the restaurant around the building, and a hostess takes you to the room. She was very rude, argued about what I booked and said they had nothing else. We ended up booking another hotel and leaving and not even sleeping there. Parts of the room were broken, there is no elevator, or on site staff, othere than the people in the restaurant.

Location is safe and definitely where it’s happening. Close to all the sites too. It’s kinda like an apartment rather than a hotel. Too noisy. Restaurants and music late into the night. Windows had a privacy film on them so I couldn’t see out. Opening them to see outside looked prettier, but then all the noise bothered me. No blackout curtains and just too much decor in the too.

No reception. You have to go to a bar nearby, no info. We arrived and started asking people around to find the person that opened the door. No daily room cleaning. The pictures posted are not from the actual room…

The breakfast was good and there were good options. The location was great very close to everything. The bed was hard and the shower was missing the shower head. In the booking they said there would be wine and there wasn’t, also there wasn’t enough coffee or water in the room.

Location Many problems. Communication with staff isn’t good. Now I know why they don’t allow refunds!!! This hotel has got to be the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The fancy Victorian furniture in the photos and staged items doesn’t come close to what it’s like in person. Our shower didn’t work properly and water went all over the bathroom floor. Contacted reception thru an app and told them about the leaking water everywhere and said to bring towels, 3 people showed up. A young guy from the restaurant next door, the girl who let us in our room earlier and some lady whom I presume to be the owner. They said they’d have to fix it in the morning. They ended up bringing towels but I had to dry the floor with one the towels. I guess I was their maid and not their guest. We found that a bottle of body lotion was 1/2 empty and definitely used. The hotel said it was impossible that it was used. We believe that they refill the body lotion/shampoo and body wash bottles. Breakfast is adjacent at a restaurant. Only can choose one option in food and one option in beverages (coffee/tea or juice). Also, the wifi is horrible and drops so many times. The bathroom door doesn’t have a handle. I showed them and they didn’t seem to care. Mattress was horrible to sleep on. You can feel the springs. Stay away from room 103 and 105. No door handle on 105. Rooms and hallways smell like wood smoke probably from restaurant below which is super loud into 3am in the morning then not long after more noise from truck deliveries. Upper stairway has no lights Bathroom sink clogs with water. Oh my the list continues. Do yourself a huge favour and stay away from this place.

Location and cleanliness We had booked a double deluxe room in ROH in June. Considering the peak season and excellent photos and facilities mentioned on booking.com we did not mind paying the high rates. On arrival we were suprised and shocked to see that there was no reception and the waiter at the restaurant guided us to our room. We were confused to see that the room did not look like anything in the photos on booking.com. It had most facilities missing. The room had no bidet, no slippers, no iron, no safety locker as mentioned in the property facilities. Even The handle on our main door was missing. And there was no one to complain to. We had to inform the waiters. It was also mentioned that the room is sound proof, but you can hear people talking and singing all throughout the day. We had to rely on the restaurant staff for any assistance. The only good thing was the room was very clean. They should update their facilities correctly instead of misleading guests .

We couldn’t have had better accommodations. The room, location, view, amenities, far exceeded our expectations Shower had leak that caused excessive water to puddle outside of shower. Electronic door lock to room never worked with punch code.

Overnight day 1 into day 2 the floor we were staying on lost electricity. When we first reported it, the gentlemen’s response did not seem very interested in trying to help us fix the issue, although there may have been a language barrier situation. After reaching out on booking though, we were ensured it would be fixed the same day. After walking around for the day when we returned, the electricity was back on and the A/C was working again, so the issue was resolved. Another issue with the location is that it is in a very lively area, and the place does not have great noise cancellation. If you are an early sleeper or have trouble falling asleep to background noise (restaurant, music) then this location may not be the best. If you enjoy late night dining, then this will be a great spot, however. There is no washer and dryer as seemingly listed in the posting for personal use. We were informed that laundry services were available for €7 per item.

I love the location. It's an exceptional location close to everything we wanted to do. The shower fixtures were broken no shower door or curtain. So every time you took a shower, the whole bathroom would get wet. Exceptionally small bathroom it appears that no maintenance is done on what's broken.

The close proximity to the events we were doing The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The lotion bottles and shampoo were half filled, and one had hair in it from a previous user.

Location only. I arrived late, around 8 or 9 p.m. on April 27. When I got to my room, there were no towels, which made me think the room hadn’t been cleaned. When I pulled back the covers on the bed, the sheets smelled dirty and sweaty. It was very unpleasant, but I didn’t complain at the time because I had nowhere else to go that late. The worst part was that one of the windows was completely open — it had no glass, just a cover. That window remained open the entire time, and because of the cold front coming through, I felt sick during both nights of my stay. This is extremely disrespectful to tourists. The bathroom was also not clean. The next day, when I asked for towels at the restaurant (which manages the property), a blonde woman was very rude and questioned why I needed towels. While the location was good, the room itself was horrible. They gave me a bottle of wine, possibly to compensate for the window issue, but that doesn’t make up for the unacceptable conditions. I would like a reimbursement for this stay. People in Athens should treat tourists with more respect — this was a very disappointing experience. ALSO I DID NOT HAVE ROOM SERVICE.
