Stalis Hotel

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless clean (they would clean it everyday and change our towels). The hotel is within walking distance to city center (Monstiraki), therefore it is still a great location, regardless of the junkies living in the area. Besides, police were passing everyday in front of the hotel and made sure the area is safe. At breakfast they served food in plastic plates. I wish our room had a balcony, as a buffer to the outside world, since the surrounding buildings were mostly deserted. Also, the shower cabin was too tight, you could not bend over. :-)).

The hotel looks renovated and new. Very good AC and hot water (only negative was the shower curtain). All the staff is amazing and helpful. Breakfast is simple but enough to start your day with salt and sweet options. There is a 24h bakery and very good local restaurants (PS) down the street around the plaza near the subway station. The neighborhood is not nice visually BUT we didn't feel unsafe in any moment of our stay, and we did arrive 3-4am everyday and had no issues with the people on the street. It is about 20 minutes walk to get to the more central (touristic) area with many restaurants and shops. Shoutout to my friend from Munich :)

The staff was incredibly kind. I had to come early and take my little dog to the vet to get his EU pet passport. They had the room ready early and I was able to get in the room! It had a lovely garden area for my dog. The breakfast was very good. The neighborhood is close to the Pantheon and olds sites. IT is rather a poor nerighbrhood but The Muslim peopel there wer so kind when I got lost, walking with me to the vet for my dog. It was a good experience. Lots of kindness

Receptionist named Kiki made my stay absolutely excellent. Perfect customer oriented approach and nice communication

The hotel was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and always ready to help us with anything we needed, which made our stay very smooth and enjoyable. There wasn’t anything major we didn’t like. Everything met our expectations, and overall we had a great stay.

Hair dryer was not enough. I left with wet hair night with my daughter .there was not also bath slippers

Location and parking

Staff nice, huge balcony, has a safe, close to where tours pick you up Blood stains on my sheet and a towel with a huge rip in it, otherwise my stay was very good

I was traveling alone, and looking for a cheap place for a couple of days. Very comfortable and nice. Staff were really helpful, explained the quickest routes around town. The metro is only about 5 minutes away. Room 501 had a nice balcony. No the hotels fault, but the outside area is very sketchy, lots of junkies and homeless people wandering around. Keep an eye on your belongings.

Fantastic location for all the major sights. One of the best deals for access to central Athens. The Wifi was non existent on the top floor. We had to go to the reception to use it.

Great staff :) the area is ok, I always stay in this area, very convenient The shower head wouldn't stay fixed all the time, sometimes it went loose (fell down in my head). Also the shower box was clogged, the water didn't drain well. And there's sewage smell in the bathroom... But honestly, with the absurd prices for hotels in Athens right now, this one is great.

It was very clean and I love stuff they were very friendly. Especially lady who is there during day she is lovely. They all made me feel welcome.It is so close to tube and Center. It is great value for money. Na
