location was perfect and breakfast was good
-
The property was conveniently located, just minutes from the Monastiraki metro station.

The service of the staff at this location was exceptional. I arrived exhausted after a 8 day tour of the Greek islands and they were able to help me connect with a laundry service to wash my clothes since I was heading to another tour that would start in Budapest in two days time. In addition, breakfast at this hotel was delicious and with plenty of options. The room and a/c were fantastic, shower had great water pressure. The location is central to Athens and easily accessible to so many parts of the city. They were also able to help get a airport transfer for the day I left and even gave me a breakfast take away box since I left at 5:45 am, I highly recommend this place.

Assistance with room keys and electric light setup would have helped.

The woman who was at the desk when we first arrived (around 40ish, short, dark hair) was unsmiling and didn't really even greet us--- what a difference from most people we experienced in Greece. Also, we arrived at around 10:30, and since our flight from an island was so early, we had not had time to eat breakfast. We saw that the breakfast buffet was still out and asked if we could have breakfast. She said yes but that it would not be free. Fine. We asked how much, and she said 12 Euro. We agreed, but when we went to eat breakfast, most of the food was gone or had been sitting so long that it was dried out. I think we should not have been charged the full rate. Even stranger, when we went to pay, the woman at the desk claimed that the machine was down and she could only take cash. My friend paid for hers, but I didn't have cash and told her I'd have to go to the ATM. She said ok. Later that afternoon, I got the money and returned to the hotel. By that time, the credit card machine should have been working, right? I am highly suspicious about the machine being down. I should have insisted on a hotel receipt. I didn't get one. Regarding the rooms, they were good, but small. And I would ask for something on the second floor next time. On the first floor, my "view" was of a concrete wall. And I couldn't open the curtains anyway. I felt like I was in a dungeon.I normally might have spent some time relaxing in my room but frankly, it was depressing

Lovely hotel with lovely staff

Hotel is steps away from all we wished to walk to and see and enjoy. Restaurants, and shops and main square and more!

Everything was really nice

The hotel was very nicely located in the Plaka. It was a quaint hotel with excellent staff. The breakfast was terrific. There was construction going on nearby-no fault of the hotel, but it was fairly loud. Our shower door was broken and the electricity was having issues so the AC didn't work consistently. They were minor issues, that didn't affect our stay.

The location was perfect and it was quiet even though we were in the middle of Planka. The staff was always friendly and willing to help with our needs in getting around Athens. The first room we were in was relatively small. The second room with a balcony was comfortable but a little overpriced with a balcony that did not accommodate two people comfortably.

The breakfast here was exceptional and it’s in a great location
-
Location in Plaka next to corner bakery was amazing. Walkable to multiple outdoor restaurants.
-
Exceptional accommodations that offered the best breakfast buffet! Staff were super friendly and so helpful. The room was very clean and the hotel was located on a quiet side street in Plaka. We really enjoyed our stay there and would most definitely return. Highly recommend. Room was a bit small but we knew that when we booked.

Sweet hotel. Perfect location Wonderful staff
-
The location was the absolutely fantastic. The fact that there was a really great breakfast available with the room rate was wonderful. The building's old world charm was quant and inviting. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was much smaller than I thought it would be. Definitely not enough room for two people with travel luggage., Not enough room to have the luggage open and available to access without having to walk over it. Not sure the room needs a Fridge. That may have helped with some of the luggage spacing.

This hotel in the perfect address to visit Athens for a reasonable budget. First of all you totally feel that you are in a family business from the moment you book. The attention and care is so noticeable. The location is in a quiet street but in the heart of plaka and walking distance to any cultural monument you wish to see! I will be back! Nothing

Location and staff were outstanding. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast looked amazing. Shower floor was quite slippery and occasional outside street noise.
