Sonesta Select Atlanta Airport North

The room was clean. The front desk attendant was helpful.

As I am somebody who relies very heavily on reviews, I will be very upfront and honest about this property. There is an airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from the airport to the property and back to the airport. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. The lobby is identical to a courtyard Marriott. I believe they took over this property. There is no food service or bar service and breakfast depends on if they have someone available to do so in the morning. Little area where they have drinks and snacks has pretty minimal stock at best and there is no beer or wine you can buy to bring up to your room . The hotel itself was very clean. The room was spotless. The beds were incredibly comfortable with down comforters and down soft fluffy pillows. It is a little dated but nothing that would make me cringe. If you are here before or after a flight, it absolutely serves its purpose and is perfectly fine for the price. If you were here any longer I may consider a property that has food and beverage service. I was able to get Uber very easily and quickly here. It does not seem like a dangerous neighborhood. You are right next door to a residence inn. Overall, it is acceptable.

My group and I had a weekend stay after our 1st reservations were canceled. Sonesta turned out to be just what we needed. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The property itself is a little older compared to the hotels in the area but that didnt take away from the fact that it was a great stay.

Stayed here for an overnight trip in Atlanta, nice place, nice area, close to the airport. The only complaint I have was there was no mention/advertisement of breakfast. Overall, a very nice experience.

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful.

Parking was 12$/day, which wasn’t listed in the fees for the property. I checked because I don’t like to be surprised by fees at check-in. Well, I was. The first room I was given had an AC that fan was blowing but it wasn’t cooling the room past 75. It had a note on it not to set below 65, which it was set to but still wouldn’t blow cool air. I had to request a new room. When I entered the second room its sliding door was wide open & not secured. It had a slight smoke smell to it & no towels. When I went to the front desk to ask for additional towels, I was told they were still being washed, housekeeping would be notified & bring to me. Ceiling had a few dark spots. I’m a loyal Expedia booker & this was the most dissatisfied & disappointed I’ve been with a hotel in a very long time. If my trip was longer than 2 nights I would have checked into a different hotel. I do not recommend staying here.

It was a quick 24 hour stay before catching our flight. It was perfecto!!! Everything was clean, the staff was amazing, but we didn't eat breakfast!

The premises was clean. Looks as advertised. The staff was a bit on the ghetto/hood side with very little small talk /customer/ engagement service. The few times I called to ask questions to the front desk, it seemed as though I was bothering them. Also, Checkout was at 11 am, and called to ask if I could have an extra 10 mins to ensure I gathered my belongings appropriately. They told me I would be charged because it is a firm 11 AM with no exceptions. That was not very accommodating. Overall, it was decent, but not the greatest.

Absolutely filthy!

My stay started great and ended up not so much.

The whole downstairs area and my room smells like mildew and mold. I didn't rest well, my nose and eyes were watery from the mildew and mold coming from the air conditioning.

Beware of the location you book.

Yup, clean, good air conditioner, nice room - I’d totally stay here again.
