DoubleTree by Hilton Atlantic Beach Oceanfront

Sarah, staff member, I spoke with prior to booking, was VERY helpful and certainly went the extra mile to secure me a proper handicap accessible room. The chair lift for the pool was not working, which I discovered before I arrived. The manager did the right thing and had a new lift installed. The overall accessibility was done very well and much appreciated.

Everyone we encountered from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team, they were allgreat.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly as well as easy access to the beach.

We arrived a little early and were able to check right in. We were given warm cookies that were delish. Stayed on the 2nd floor oceanfront. The balconies are larger for oceanfront views. The rooms were clean and I was surprised to see that the closet was quite large with plenty of hangers. In the photos it doesn't show the closet so I was concerned going in. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool is cleaned thoroughly daily. Very relaxing atmosphere. Molly's Beach bar and grill served up great food(especially the burgers) and the Hurricane Florence drink was really good if you like something fruity. It was easy to get to the beach and the pier. There were chairs/umbrellas for rent but we brought our own so it saved us $50/day(Pricey). We arrived on a Tuesday. There wasn't a parking fee while we were there but we did notice that they do charge coming in on a weekend. Overall we had an awesome time and would come back again.

Excellent experience. Staff facilities are excellent. Could not have been better.

Well pleased with my Room, the staff was very nice and helpful went out of their way to pleased. Only had one small issue, wasn't able to assess the balcony. Great Job 👍

Check in time was an hour late with no compensation. Bathroom fixtures were not secure.

We had never stayed there before but were well pleased. Clean room with great view- we called it a balconette-just wide enough for a beach chair sideways. Breakfast was good and filling. Pools were very clean . Molly’s restaurant had good bar food too. Desk was always polite and helpful. Great find!

Three girlfriend’s trip to Atlantic Beach was excellent. Hotel very clean, as was pool area. We enjoyed having something to eat at Molly’s when we arrived after a long day of driving. Staff was courteous and polite. Housekeeping was best I have experienced in years! Don’t miss out on a trip to Gaffers for good food and music! This was one of my top beach experiences. I love this hotel and location.

We had arrived early and was told you had a very busy Saturday and the rooms are not ready. I explained we had an event to go to at 4pm and would love to change and freshen up. The lady at the counter said give me a few minutes and I will find you a room. Well she was very helpful and found a room ready for us. This enabled us to get ready for our event. .

The A/C was turned off for well over fours hours and when we went to check out, one of the elevators wasn’t working. On a Friday when people are leaving with carts full of belongings.

Breakfast was amazing. The hash brown casserole was on point. Our boys loved the waffles and fruit. The views are exquisite. Every room has at least a partial view of the ocean and it was breathtaking. Would definitely stay again
