the Hotel is almost brand new so you would expect it to be pristine, and it was. The Art work around the hotel is unique and quite stunning - especially on the Guest floor levels. The guest room bathrooms are a little unusual in the way the doors become the walls. I didn't like that design but it was modern and made good use of space My check in experience was very frustrating and took far longer than it should have. Part of the reason for this frustration was that the two girls who were on reception spoke very poor English. While this is something we regularly now find in Auckland- it is not something I would expect to encounter in front line staff at a Hotel in Central Auckland. My main frustration was that I booked through Booking.com with a Pay at Hotel Policy. To avoid the 2.5% Credit Card surcharge, I opted to pay with Eftpost. The girls processed the transaction 3 times and each time it was declined. I had used my card multiple times that day without issue. Eventually, I had not option but to pay with Credit and pay the surcharge. Later, on returning to the Hotel and finding a Reception staff member who did speak English- I asked him about this to find the Hotel is not set up to accept Eftpost!

The location was exceptional, staff were fantastic (couldn't do enough to help and always warm and friendly), the hotel including the rooms was spacious, modern, well appointed, stylish and comfortable. It was a great stay! A shame happy hour didn't include 0% options, same sized glass for alcoholic beer so paying 25% more seemed a bit rough.

Amazing
-
It was under construction while staying. You will hear hammering and drilling

Great location in a very pleasant, spacious room. The restaurant meal was excellent and the staff very kind and helpful.

Wonderful location. Hotel decor funky but restful. Not cleaned very well. No parking.

The location was perfect for me as I had a function to attend at the Aotea Centre. I loved the colour scheme and art throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Somewhere to hang a towel would be great.
-
I loved how clean the motel was, the set up. The style, the entry walking in made me feel happy. Staff were amazing and supportive. Price was reasonable, and what you offered, facilities and in the room was a top notch stay for me. Will return here everytime I am In Auckland Nothing I loved it

Good selection for breakfast. Location perfect for access to Queens street. Perfect low level light sensors during the night All very new but soulless. Curious arrangement of sliding panels which closed the wardrobe off or fully exposed toilet shower & hand basin. Ultra modern?Ultra mistake?

The room was great- we had a corner room with a bath and it was wonderful. N/a

We only stayed one night. Arrived late to an automated check in which was easy. We didn't see any staff about except in the bar. Considering its in the middle of the city, it was good to see car parking for hotel guests is in the carpark building across the street. Check out was easy too. The room was interestingly decorated. Definitely a vibe!

What really sets this hotel apart is its energetic atmosphere—bold artwork, lively social spaces, and a fresh, youthful vibe that makes every stay feel a little more exciting. The staff are welcoming and attentive, adding a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. N/A

We have stayed twice now. Very good location in the CBD. Relatively short walk to the wharf and shopping districts. Around the corner from the Sky Tower and across the street from the Auckland Art Gallery. They have been open only a month and some computer glitches delayed check ins and the restaurant food selection was limited but very good. There is construction ongoing next door but hardly noticeable for us.
-
great decor. bar. no one made up our room - quite disappointed with that given how tiny the rooms were with bathroom and bedroom is the same room (no issue with the size - disappointed no change of towels etc). Incomplete building - roof bar not available. Lift key access only worked on one side but lift buttons on both sides in each lift... weird! Not hotels fault but roadworks were annoying.

Everything was fantastic. Comfortable bed, spacious room and excellent staff. The location was perfect for where I needed to be and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. The only downfall was the breakfast, which wasn't great but this did not affect my stay at all. The breakfast which was included in my rate
