Goodview Hotel

The room is quite big, clean and in a good location. There is also a laundry room. The lobby and hallway were a bit smelly, but the room is very clean!

Noisy neighbourhood especially at night with sirens and helicopters, even though i was on the 4th foor, and requested a quiet room, which they kindly offered, it was still a noisy room, so recommend ear plugs if you're planning to get a good night sleep. Otherwise a very good facility and would recommend it.

The area wasn't the best and the building looked a little old but we were pleasantly surprised by our room. The room was large and very modern. We enjoyed it so much that we asked about staying another night there. There is parking on the ground floor that is secure. I would recommend but there wasn't much around the hotel so you had to walk a little. The hotel is in a sketchy area with homeless around but inside the hotel was fine.

Very clean, large bedroom and bathroom. Good security for lobby, hallways, elevators and rooms. Location an easy downhill walk to shops. The neighborhood was uncomfortable for a 71 year old solo female traveller. I was sure to be in from walking before dark. Though on a busy street with highway access, traffic noise dropped down after rush hours.

A little far from city center

Room is excellent and car parking very convenient. Do not be put off by basic reception or corridors. Good service and security. Easy walk to many places. Value for money is high in my opinion.

While the property may feel a little older from the outside, the rooms themselves are really nice, clean, and cozy. The staff is super helpful and even helped us store our bags! I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The lift, the hallway was not clean, I did not get the instructions to get into the accommodation. I only received photos.

Bed was comfortable!

Location was great, walking distance to Sky Tower, nice little Asian food places next door. Actual room was clean spacious and well equipped. Comfortable beds, pillows and linen. Secure parking. After hours (6pm) reception confusing, cleanliness of reception, hallways and lift not great. (Room was great). Couldn't use tv, Don't expect a view. Out of room areas could use a vacuum and coat of paint.

Room was fine. Clean, well appointed, objectively pretty good, just not aesthetically pleasing. The lobby and other common areas could use some attention. Nobody vacuumed the lobby floor for the three days that I was there and it was quite messy. It’s annoying to me when there are people just sitting behind the front desk on their phone when there’s little things that can be done on a daily basis to make a business look better.

Lovely room with a good bed (crisp cotton linens) and choice of fresh air or AC. We had a fridge and the staff was super helpful. We asked for extra pillows and received them quickly. We liked everything!

Excellent hotel and very friendly staff, nothing was too much for them. I actually lost a little bottle of perfume in our room (3A).I went back 2 days after we checked out,and a staff member took me to the room and located the little bottle had rolled up behind the microwave. Definitely worth a visit for anyone visiting Auckland. I have honestly no complaints whatsoever.

Dryer alarm kept going off even though I kept trying my best to clean and drain out all the filters.

Carpark wS a little tricky. We drove round the corner and walked in. Should put on booking info that you have to drive into gate on footpath then go in and ask for fate to be opened.

Very convenient location to restaurants, attractions, and shopping. Clean, quiet, secure building.

It was clean. Room was spacious and nice. All amenities were clean. Everything was perfect
