West Bank Inn

We got there at 2 a.m. and the office manager allowed us an hour later check out. The bathrooms were not clean at all. There was only ONE partially used roll of toilet paper in the whole room. We ran out! I always check the rating before I book. This was not an 8.7 hotel.

The location was good. The maintenance man was prompt & knowledgeable when we had an air conditioning challenge in our first room (209) upon check in & worked with the front desk in getting us another room. The room (211) was dirty with white chalky stuff on the floor next to the bed near the window. The lamp’s turnoff/ on button came off & exposed the wires that seemed a fire hazard to me. The plugs next to the lamp had dark grime on it which could result in fire hazard. The final straw was in the next morning as I was ready to spray my hair, there was a roach on the top of the bottle. the roach scurried away under the mirror from where it had come. We did not stay the second day of our proposed stay.

Hotel was clean amenities minimum basic very outdated but again clean good hotel for a day or two stay quiet very convenient location wise for food highway access if I’m in that area again for the price, I would use this hotel for a short period of time anything more than one day or two I would upgrade. This style hotel is not much more you can get from it. The grounds and room definitely were clean and Staff seems to take care of the property well

The first night I scratched and itched all night long but the second night was fine and the management or staff are great the owner which I haven't met seems great I wish they would offer this location at a weekly rate that competes with woodspring suites in Augusta which comes out to like $297 a week if they could do that I would stay there forever because as a felon nobody wants to rent to me because people are close-minded and we live in the south aka the Bible belt and people are ignorant and stupid and unforgiving and Christian which I'm also a Christian as well but I really hope they find out what being a true Christian means before they die because we are supposed to help everyone not just the people that look good on paper because I have money for days I take that back I have money for years money is not a problem money will never be a problem sorry for the rant but everybody coming to Augusta stay at the West Bank and you'll have a great trip.

Very clean room, hot shower and quiet for a one night stay. Excellent restaurant options in the area.

I would definitely stay again and recommend. Check in fast and easy. Staff has great attitudes! Very clean and comfortable. Property is well maintained. As a solo traveling nurse I felt very safe!
