There was a long walk to our room, and it was all boarded up. We had to shower in a mold rimmed shower. Full of molds and I have photos. So disappointed in this stay.

We have stayed here multiple times. It's one of our favorite places, however, they were under construction this trip which made it a very different experience. We paid for breakfast through Expedia as an add-on ahead of time, but when we arrived to eat the cost per person was $5 less than we had pre-paid. The front desk staff was not very friendly and I had to tell them that we had drinks and breakfast included in our room. We're hoping our next stay will be better like it was before.

It would have been nice to know tge place was under renovation before we stayed there and the fact they charge to to park there now was a big turn off to the idea of ever staying at that place again. Thats the first place I've ever stayed that charged for parking; even $500 a night resorts don't charge for parking.

Today is in remodeling and was very uncomfortably.

    Run down and under construction.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

This location is under renovation. Amenities are affected. Construction noise during daytime hours. No warning on Hotels.com about renovations in progress. Room is dated, finishes worn, linens especially pillow's smell old and used. As a business traveler, I would not consider for future stays until renovations are completed.

On the website, ot states robes in the room. I requested and they said they no longer provide them. They are doing construction and room service was not available. They need to be honest and update the website.

I really enjoyed the size of the room as well as the bathroom—love having double sinks.

Loved this place--the courtyard was so cute and it felt like a resort hotel.

    Very good

August when I go fly fishing in Colorado and Wyoming mostly for the wonderful atrium space with trees and plants and water ponds - great Feng Shui - and also the restaurant food is lovely. Am very worried because I learned this morning the trees and plants and the water fountains are being removed. It sounds like the changes are to „modernize“ it but am worried this will change the peaceful character of the atrium. I will try it again next year but hope that the manager does not make so many changes that it loses its soul and character which I love.

Gonna miss the Coi and the River, construction was a bit sad to see. Still beautiful rooms with great bathrooms!!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

On top of that disappointment, you now have to pay to park at the hotel you’ve already paid good money to stay at! $15 per night! We stayed 3 nights and paid $51 on top of our hotel stay.

We arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning - we were unable to take advantage of the many amenities offered. The hotel was beautiful and the room was very comfortable and spacious.

Reserved and paid for a room knowing that we would arrive late after a long travel day. Upon arrival told they overbooked and we did not have a room. Staff and manager were very indifferent and did not care. Had to fight with them to get our money back at midnight. Would recommend going elsewhere
