Clean and beautiful inn. Near the trail to the beach. Very helpful and kind staff. I would stay here again. The only thing I would change is adding a coffee maker in the rooms instead of the coffee being in the lobby. There’s a market/restaurant near by that was convenient.

I had a great time, it was very quiet and the room was big and cozy. The room and whole property were super clean. It was super easy to find parking and fairly close to the beach.

We love staying here when we come to visit our son at SLO. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Enjoy the local market and the walk to the beach.

Clean, quiet, parking

We really enjoyed the beach cruiser bikes. The bike trail is wonderful.

They canceled my reservation at check in and left me with no room for the weekend. Expedia had to re-book me in another town at considerably more cost to Expedia.

Staff was super friendly and attentive!

This felt like a cabin of our own. Located in a sweet, quaint village-the room is quiet and clean. Loved that there was coffee in the lobby and cold water. We loved eating at the marketplace restaurant-good food, drinks, and snacks. Love the walkway along the water to get our steps in. I'll be back.

Enjoyed a nice weekend stay. Our room was quiet and well located. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Finishes in the bathroom were starting to show wear. We had to run the AC the whole time we were there to keep the room cool. Appreciated having the market nearby - had pizza one night and coffee one morning there.
-
Everything was wonderful, beautiful room, comfortable bed, clean. Beautiful area, I could walk to where my kids were staying. I will stay there again.
-
Amazing stay! We enjoyed the closeness to the trail for our biking time. Just wish it had pool and hot tub.
-
The amenities weren’t part of the stay. To use the gym, $35/day. The zip line was 45 minutes away. Bicycle usage was $10/hr. First 2 hrs were free. No in house restaurant. There was no swimming pool. Most amenities were unavailable. It was disappointing..

The room was beautiful. Enjoyed reading on the balcony in the cool afternoon air. Other than the people using the walking trail near the room, it was quiet and relaxing. No breakfast at the hotel. There was coffee and tea in the lobby. Lack of restaurants close by (but that has nothing to do with the Avila Village Inn).
-
The amenities were not explained to us. Rooms were great. The property was great. The parking was as we expected however the first thing the employee said to us is you can't park your trailer here. That was our introduction. We had made previous arrangements to park the vehicle trailer elsewhere. This was our second time visiting at this hotel but it was our friends first time and it was very disappointing.
-
The staff did give us a bit of a refund for the fireplace—but overall, the experience was overpriced.
