Pool was under maintenance on a hot weekend which was disappointing.

at 2...could be a 10. Basically, this hotel is rated either a 10 or a 4, all because the hotel will not be honest with some of their rooms. If you are an owner, or as the front desk told us...needed to book 13 months in advance to get a "better view". Our view is of a 3 walls and a drainage area. So...if you can use time travel, do so and book 13 months ago..or be an owner...otherwise, seems like 50% of the rooms have amazing views, 25% have partial ocean views (very partial) and 25% look at walls. So, the reviews will be 10 out 10 if you get the good room....2-6 is the non-ocean views. ISSUE - just be honest and give people the option to book a room with an accurate description. YES, they all do have balconies, but NO, not every room is an ocean view, or even a garden view. Front desk will just say, we always try to give you the best available room...would be better to say, you have a non-Ocean view, but we will UPGRADE you if a better room is available...which, probably wont be, so we would have booked somewhere else. Property is beautiful...views from the property (except our room) are amazing. This place is mainly for families and feels like a VRBO condo unit more than a nice hotel.

Location good Need a small cafe that serves simple food for breakfast and lunch. Free simple coffee bar in lobby would be nice.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the room upgrades. We hadn't been there for two years. Nice job on everything! Kitchen appliances are much better as well as furnishings. I can't remember if there was a storage room for the bikes two years ago but noticed it this time and it comes in handy. All the staff members are very accommodating! More umbrellas are needed in the pool area; the current number is greatly inadequate. Also, I was annoyed to find that owners can allow day visitors to utilize the pool area, barbeques, etc. I asked about it at the front desk and was told that it is limited to 20 people per day. That is too many!! The hotel has a lot of rooms; with that many additional people at the pool it would be far too many! On one day of our stay we sat next to a group that was there on a day use situation. There were 15 of them. They were moving chairs and umbrellas from all areas to accommodate themselves. The pool was way too full of children that day running and jumping in. It was not pleasant for older adults of which I am one. Also, we happen to have a partial view of the ocean but also a view of the roof. A 4th floor room. The roof is not being cleaned off, there was a lot of leaves, dirt, and a couple of dead birds. Very unsightly!!! One of the elevators was out almost all week. It made it difficult for staff and guests. One of your staff members told me the Service Elevator has been broken for over a year and is not being fixed. It makes it very challenging for the staff that are trying their best to clean rooms and accommodate guests. Please fix that elevator for them!!!

Great location with easy access to the beach. I suggest trying to get a room on the 4th floor because we had a lot of noise from the people in the room above us and when housekeeping came in it was quite loud. The bathroom tub needed a little more attention before we arrived because there was a lot of hair in the tub but besides that everything else was clean. The rooms have been recently updated and all of the appliances were new. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the dishware and utensils you would need to make a meal, you just need to bring your ingredients. There is no restaurant on the premises but a card was provided for discount at local restaurants which came in handy. It was disappointing that so many children were running down the hallway and even knocking on doors. That is no fault to the hotel but to the parents who should have been more attentive. Along with the no smoking and pet policy that you sign when checking in, maybe the hotel could put a reminder about being courteous. All in all, we had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel and not hesitate to stay there again.

We liked the condo, just the right size and very comfortable. The view was nice but it overlooked the parking lot. Parking was a bit of a problem. We had to park at the bottom and walk up the hill to the building.The lot was full.

Newly remodeled entry and multi use facility looks awesome. New store was full of goodies if needed and vending machines are gone. Always a great stay.
