Great quiet location with major restaurants, shops and thermal bath within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Around 11 parking places for cars. Comfortable room with nice breakfast. Dorothy, the hotel manager/owner, is a very kind and helpful lady. Shower space in single room is rather small. Arrival and check-in before 7 pm can be a problem for those who arrive after. Multiple stairs to climb up and down which may be a challenge to guests with restricted mobility. No tea & coffee for early risers. One has to drive some 2.5 km to Aral gas station to get a cup of coffee around 6.30 am.

The location was great- the property is beautiful and the staff/ owner is very friendly The stairs were tough especially if you have a heavy suitcase and your room is on the top floor. Next time I will pack lighter:)

Friendly staff and welcome. Very clean facility with comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities. Quiet, restful location with a clean, fresh-air walking area behind hotel. Nice breakfast and good onsite parking. No backout curtains/rolladen.

Room was quiet and nice view to city. Absolutly clean and bed very good. Very friendly welcome. Thanks for staying here. I like it very good. If you come late you must park the car at the side and I found it difficult because it goes strong up. But if you come first you have very good parkings in front of Hotel. I must search the entry, because I landed in the appartment section. But if you know then it's no problem

The hotel Morgensonne is located in a very quiet and residential area of Badenweiler, right off the main and central pedestrian road. You are within a 5 minutes walk from the baths and the central square. The room I occupied was very spacious and impeccably - impeccably - clean. A welcome note, fresh flowers, local fruits, a bottle of mineral water, a bathrobe, quality sheets, ... The owner, albeit very discreet, is not only very kind and extremely welcoming, she sets the highest standards for her hotel. Having stayed at several places in the area, Morgensonne does stand out in terms of the owner’s hospitality and the range of amenities. A hotel uniquely managed with great care and attention to details. It would have been nice to have met Felix!
