Sonja and Michael are absolutely delightful. Friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was beautifully presented and fresh. The cleaning staff paid close attention to detail, cleaning every nook and cranny. They appeared to love their job and were treated with respect. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Our Room 15 has a claw footed tub that was so relaxing. Our only concern to note is IF you have any difficulty with stairs, then you would really want to speak with Sonja and Michael before booking. They do have at least one apartment with minimal steps but otherwise, it could be a challenge if that is a concern.

Exceptional

The style of the hotel is very cute, has a personality and the hosts are very helpful and nice. The bedrooms are beautiful and the hotel is super dog friendly. The staff is also very friendly. Location is great for hiking and eating out. The shower looked very nice and worked very well. I would certainly come back. The stay was almost perfect. The only think they could improve on is setting up the rooms with summer blankets for the hotter months. We were there in August and the full blankets were too warm, although I could still sleep!

We loved everything. Michael and Sonja were lovely hosts who took good care of us. The breakfast was sumptuous, nicely served on an Etagere. So many choices for breakfast. We lacked for nothing and would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be coming back. There was absolutely nothing.

I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Badenweiler over the years. This was my first stay at Villa Rosenhof and definitely the best hotel in Badenweiler for me. It was small and charming, beautifully furnished, the owners are delightful and attentive, the services, especially the breakfast, wonderful and excellent value for money. I shall be returning for sure. Nothing.

The breakfasts were all delicious and beautifully presented! Our hosts provided many options for each guest; I especially enjoyed the fresh breads served each morning. Seeing everyone's smiling faces was a great way to start our days! No complaints!

The hosts were absolutely amazing! The rooms were eccentric and fun! Very clean. We had a fabulous time. Micheal and Sonya were wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay the best. Everything was above and beyond.

Very nicely decorated hotel with friendly owners. We were especially surprised by the lavish and somewhat 'private' breakfast provided by the owners. It left sort of B&B type of experience, very nice. The beds are quite small, too small if you're above 1.80m. Best book the rooms with beds without any foot-end.
