Miraj Hotel

High ceiling room. Facilities are quite clean and reasonably modern. Quite and safe area. Hotel itself is reasonably quiet. Room is large and carpeted. Curtain is thick but can't block the morning light in the Baku summer. The room door is not soundproof and has a gap below (which seems common across hotels I've stayed in Azerbaijan). Consequently as a noise sensitive person I could hear everything in the hallway (which wasn't busy at all and was mostly quiet during my stay) and people having passionate s*x in a neighboring room at 2am, but it's a minor inconvenience + mitigated by the large carpeted room. The location isn't central and the public transportation to and from the hotel wasn't great during my stay, perhaps because somehow a main road was closed and all buses got re-routed, so I mostly had to taxi (not expensive) to other places in town.

Water pressure in bathroom, though it could be a general problem.

It was an amazing stay. They took care of everything we needed. It’s an excellent value for money. The room is quite big and clean. The area is very safe, it’s a nice neighborhood. We would come here again if we come back to Azerbaijan. The stuff is very helpful. Nothing

As Baku is a windy city, you still can hear the wind, even if he windows are closed (Not a much noise you can use to it and wont pay attention later). Otherwise the rom is sound proof, bright, unexpectedly spacious and airy. All was comfortable, staff responsive and friendly, convenient location, decent amount and choice for the breakfast

Clean, good value, 5 minutes walk to metro station and 1 minute to a bus stops, BF is not bad in relation to property, staff are friendly, elevator is available. Location is not close to attractions still if you are a price oriented then it’s fine as public transportation is convenient but consider late returns as metro stops at night, not sure about the bus though. Also shops and restaurants in the area don’t serve at night.

The hotel staff was very friendly and allowed us to check-in much earlier. We felt their support during our whole stay. Now we defintely know where to stay again when we come to Baku next time! Nothing. Everything was much better than we expected!

The breakfast is pretty basic and the same everyday.

The hotel was clean spacious and they are so helpful i have a problem to take a taxi at 3 am to go to airport they help me to find one.I really appreciate it they deserve 10star Nothing

A conveniently placed hotel with most attractions within a short taxi ride . Staff were polite. Rooms had a balcony and were cleaned daily. Communications before booking were excellent. Price was cheap enough. Amenities were run down , most exterior doors didn't shut properly .Rooms really hot ,needing AC on in December. Arrived with a fridge in the middle of our room,no extra bed made up as per request and only 1 towel for 3 of us. Breakfast was adequate but the same every day,. Having said the above , we enjoyed our stay and loved our trip to Baku .

The location and the value for money is good. Cleaning the room has not been done very well during our one week of stay!
