My expectations were exceeded

Exceptional experience at this lovely hotel. Loved everything about it. Location superb, quiet yet nearby town and right on the water. Facilities offered everything we needed from great food to wonderful staff. nothing!

Lovely boutique hotel in Bandol on the bay. The hotel is very well run, about a 5 minute walk into town and has amazing water views. Room was small but well appointed with big windows out to the sea. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and felt homemade. The bay itself is difficult to get in - the water can be a bit murky and very slippery with rocks. Water shoes are provided (a lovely touch!) but it's not a great spot for swimming.

Stunning location, amazing view, beautiful intimate area for snacks, drinks, meals and relaxing, lovely small spa facilities, great parking, easy walk to restaurants and markets. Every single one of the staff is completely remarkable, genuinely welcoming, and wonderfully accommodating. It was perfect

Outstanding on all aspects

The uniqueness of the the hotel is expressed in every detail: from little special touches in the rooms (natural scents, bed linen, coffee/tea set), to luminosity of spaces, to splendid (!) view across the bay, to infrared sauna and swimming pool that you can book for private use - this hotel is like nothing I had experienced before (with many 5-star hotels in 50 countries across the globe on my account). The experience at Splendid cannot be conveyed through words - it needs to be lived!!! I will for sure return soon! Eggs could be added to breakfast spread as a standard (and not extra) item.

Superb

Having the view of the bay. The staff were excellent and helpful. Walking on to the sand beach (one of the few with sand in the Riviera). The hike to the West from the hotel along the coast is spectacularly beautiful and goes for quite a long way. The entry into the water from the hotel is a bit tricky. They do provide water shoes, but still one must be very careful on the rocks.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed.. the location is incredible, you can hear the ocean from your room. There's literally nothing you miss during your stay. The sun terrace, the pool, the rooms, everything is incredible well maintained and well looked after. The staff is Wonderful and very caring. A true 5 star experience. Eggs at breakfast ? but that's just me being picky

Beautiful terrace with stunning views. The direct access to the private beach was great. Everything is very considered and thoughtful. We loved that reef shoes were available to use, for when you go to the rocky beach. The free coffee and cakes was really lovely too!
