Amora Beach Resort Phuket

Terrible stair design, I twisted my ankle on the side-step due to this design.

Lovely property attached to the beach. Breakfast was adequate although it was the same option every other day. Travelling with kids and elderly parents we picked the best room available i.e. the Andaman Suite however was very disappointed to learn that it was on the 2nd floor with NO ELEVATOR to travel up and down. This was a big challenge with 2 little ones and older parents. Moving to other alternatives would have meant downgrading with no compensation and with the amount we paid for the room; the other options didn't seem worth it. This should be noted on the website somewhere for families to consider before booking their stay. For the price paid for a 2 Bedroom Suite with "snack kitchen" there was minimal kitchen, kitchenette facilities. They could not provide a microwave in the room which we required for baby bottle sterilization but they did offer the option to use the restaurant microwave. No heating or hot plate devices could be provided. The jacuzzi in the room was not working. The water was leaking from the tap so the tub wouldn't fill up properly. There was also a small leak from the toilet which was kind of gross. No smart TV so couldn't connect to Netflix or Disney.

One of the best places to stay amazing environment for families ,friends or business purposes very respectful personnel and great place to visit at least one's in a life time if you go to thailand phuket you have to check it out

The property has good connectivity and close to beach and markets. The garden view room didn’t have any view of the garden and was facing a construction site next to the property.

Friendly staff and well laid out property with a beautiful beach setting. Nice bathrooms and easy access fitness and spa area. Poor stair design, trip hazard.

For a five-star hotel, the rooms did not feel as clean as expected. The air conditioning was very strong and difficult to regulate, so the room was often extremely cold. We also had several lizards in the room. Another issue was the humidity — the room felt very damp, and we could barely open the balcony door because the entire room would immediately fog up and water would start forming on the walls due to the moisture. The pool area also had very limited sunbeds, and the pool itself did not always seem very clean. Breakfast had a good variety overall, but some of the food did not seem completely fresh and many items were cold.

Our stay at this resort was great. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The staff even brought me a mini cake and plate with Happy Birthday on it for my birthday. You can always message the front desk any time and they respond very promptly. Everything was great. Beach was right there, pool was great and food was good. The only negative the rooms smelled of a little mildew but that is expected with humidity levels that high.

The beach was really nice with several facilities and a beach club. Requested a Kate checkout which was denied. Food was average but beverages were good. No elevator for the upper floor..

Its position on the beach The sunbeds are crammed beside each other in the shade under the trees and are not comfy. If you wanted morning sun you had to ly on plastic sunbeds with no cushion and no umbrella. The beach club which is advertised you have to pay for? No beach bar to sit and have a drink or bite to eat. Also all the sunbeds by the pool areas are of the wave type so you can’t lie on your front.

- Facilities: pools, gym and spa. Spa service was great, proper therapists. 2 pools big one with kids games and another one more chill, it somehow separated families with kids and adults which is more relaxing for adults who wants to chill. Small gym but sufficient when you’re on vacation - Service: helpful front desk agent and bell man Rooms are renovated but still look old, especially the bathrooms. The bed is stiff and not comfortable

The property has its own section of the beach which is lovely, the breakfast was good and the pool was clean. I would consider this a 4 star property, not a 5 star. The public bathrooms near the pool and beach were not kept clean and often ran out of toilet paper, there was no personal touches or connection to the staff, the staff were barely visible and seemed very “hands off”, our bath mat was taken and not replaced two of the days of our stay, a large number of small cockroaches came up the drain one day of the stay (which happens in Asia but with no staff around it was just a matter of waiting for housekeeping to get to us), and the hotel staff allowed the sun loungers to be taken by placing a towel or flipflop at 6am and then people not coming to use them until 4/5pm. In a true 5 star property, there are warm personal touches, the property would always be kept clean, you would know who to call when something goes wrong, and holding sun loungers for longer than an hour is usually not acceptable. On Thursday and Friday nights, the beach party kept us awake for much of the night as the windows didn’t seal very well.

Nice , looking hotel , good beach BangTao and restoraunt around Rude and unprofessional stuff , small rooms … No decent room for perents with kids (2+2).. it is not 5 star hotel

Lovely and clean with lots of space, great views and great location. Breakfast selection was superb and being able to sit and eat outside each morning was so refreshing. Short walk through the grounds straight on to the beach was fantastic. Long beach walk was perfect.
