Not much of basic things in the room

My Credit card has been charged twice for the room rent both by booking.com and the hotel. Not exactly sure if it is hotel fault or booking.com's fault. Informed the hotel management, they are still working on it.

Almost everything ! The gym mats in the gym are a bit old ...

Comfortable rooms, great location connected to the mall, easy to get transportation either by taxi or BTS train. Staff was very helpful. Self service washing machines were out of the way and lacked clear instructions.

Well positioned for metro system, easy access to city without being in the center. Good access to local street food market and shopping center. Nothing springs to mind.

Great location with easy access to everything you need for your stay. Proximity to On Nut station was the best thing especially for solo travel, not having to worry about travelling late as it’s so close to the hotel. Shops, restaurants and markets right next door without feeling disruptive or loud. Rooms very modern, spacious and clean

Excellent Room, Excellent Staff Nothing

Honestly, there was nothing special that I liked about this property. The experience from booking until check-out was stressful and disappointing. When I was searching for a hotel, it was very important for me to book a property that did not require prepayment because my visa had not been issued yet. This hotel was listed as “no prepayment needed,” which is why I chose it. However, from the day I made the reservation, they kept sending emails every day for about a week asking me to make a payment and threatening to cancel the booking if I didn’t. First they asked me to pay the full amount, and when I refused, they insisted that I must at least pay one night as a deposit or they would cancel my reservation. This created unnecessary stress because I had already used the hotel address for my visa application. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were not welcoming and asked for an additional 3000 THB deposit, which had never been mentioned anywhere during the booking process. They said it was for possible damages or minibar use. Another issue was breakfast. I booked the room with breakfast included, but when I went to the restaurant the next morning they said my room did not include breakfast and charged 1000 THB extra. The location was also very inconvenient. The hotel is far from most tourist areas, and it takes around 30–40 minutes by taxi to reach almost any main attraction. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. The hotel seemed more focused on taking extra money rather than providing good service, and the staff were not friendly or helpful.

It’s close to On Nut station and a central mall. Downstair the mall have a place people doing nails. It is valuable to do nails here (only 200-300 Baht). Moreover, the hotel breakfast is plentiful and delicious! Compared to a 5-star hotel, facilities were quite simple.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel (my second time). The rooms were so clean and comfortable, bathrooms including shower pressure and soap products were also great. The breakfast was great and I love the Greenhouse Terrace (restaurant) space. The staff person ("Eye") was really helpful and made us very comfortable after we checked out. The concierge and baggage service was also excellent, and the men there helped with my taxi. I will always recommend Avani Sukhumvit to any friends traveling to Bangkok. I have no complaints!
