Baan At Khaosan Hostel

The property was in a good location. Close to Khaosan and main sightseeing along the river. The room was ok , the bathroom worked and we got our breakfast. The bedsheets and first Night we weren’t given towels. Breakfast was good but only bread , butter and bread — don’t expect a buffet.

Where do I start..the sheets had singe marks and stains as did the nightstand and the wall, ripped blanket, broken toilet handle, toilet brush without the holder for the brush, pipe under sink leaking, no towels, you have to got to a closet located in the hallway to get a roll of toilet paper, electrical socket hanging out of the wall...abysmal

Location: Steps from Khao San. Ten minutes from Sanam Luang. Room was big and reasonably clean. Super dark with the lights off since there's no window. Bathroom was big and clean. Hot water. Staff who checked me in was friendly. Everyone was pleasant. WiFi was fine The bed was super hard. No cabinets or anywhere to unpack. Nowhere to hang wet clothes (It's Songkran, come on). No shelves in the bathroom. When I tried to extend my room, I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time (I was told to come back to the front desk in 2 his hours, when I did I had to sit and wait 45 minutes longer) The free breakfast is the thinnest omelette I've ever had and two slices of the cheapest toasted bread with butter and jam. No water refill Definitely noisy with both the road right outside and music from nearby bars playing until well past midnight

Great value for Bangkok and very close to the amazing of the Khoasan road! I was on the top floor and found the stairs a bit of a challenge - but then I'm 74!

I was told my room had a bath tub when in fact it was just a shower with a large basin

Other than location, this place is absolutely horrible Stay away!!! windowless rooms, 3-4 levels high with no elevator, bedbug infested mattress. I used my credit card at the hotel to pay for the stay, they run it twice saying it is being declined, and made me pay cash for the stay. Then an hour after I check out, someone mysteriously attempts a $6,000 to my card. I never used this card anywhere else during this trip, this is not a coincidence! Worst hostel I ever stayed at in my life.

Close to the Khaosan Road and city center, clean room. Both nights, a bunch of locals played the music on the street until the morning louder than I can play it on my headphones. It's not the hotel's fault, but it was impossible to sleep. Hard beds, but it was bearable

The location is excellent, in front of Khao san road, very nice room with big bathroom, breakfast included, AC and van and the staff is fantastic. All in all, we really liked it and it was a great value for money.

I found the location very good and the staff very friendly The bed is not comfortable, the towels were not very clean, the room has no ventilation and it's very noisy at night because there's a bar with loud music until late

The staff was lovely. It is great location, as it's close to 7 eleven, main Khaosan Road, all taxis etc. Room is very spacious and clean It is so loud, as it's in the main road. Was impossible to sleep, as you can hear music until at least 2am. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable

Great location. Clean rooms and bathrooms. stairs - If you get a room on the 3rd floor you have to climb steep stairs breakfasts - the owners of the hostel have a nice restaurant downstairs but the breakfasts are worthless. On Kaoh San (1 minute walk) you have a huge selection of delicious food. It is better to eat there room - the room looked completely different than in the photo and was much smaller than the one I booked. no duvet covers or other hygienic covering. the appearance of the room and the entire hostel is of a very low standard. internet - no coverage on the top floor communication - you don't known who is the receptionist and who is the waiter. they do not share information. not everyone speaks English
