The host was super responsive and the housekeeper was nice too, when we could find her. The AC works great, the location is near a lot of interesting things, and the room was bug-free with a cute little patio. The room wasn't very clean when I arrived. (Some kind of sauce sprayed all over the TV screen, sink with visible grime, a spill in the corner of the room.) The host responded quickly and arranged for it to be re-cleaned for free, but they only hit the main points, and there were still dirty areas. Disappointing, since the rest of the accommodation was pretty good.

comfortable bed, all the facilities are excellent mosquito nets on the windows i would like to see the wi fi password printed in the room it was difficult to reach the office when i left my luggage there, although I told the exact time i will collect it. the cleaner was 8nside the building, but i couldn't get in because i already returned my key card, and the way to the stairs was locked. she also didn't answer tge phone no view from the window the next balcony was very closed to mine, so me and my neighbours heard each other the way to the apartment was complucated for taxi driver because of a lot of small turns

There was a very strong smell of marijuana throughout the accommodation, which caused significant discomfort and triggered my asthma symptoms. I contacted the host immediately, but I was informed that no alternative room or solution could be provided because the property was fully booked. As my breathing became increasingly difficult, I had to leave and find another place to stay at my own expense. The room itself was acceptable, but the lack of support when a health-related issue was reported was extremely disappointing. Guests should be aware of this before booking.

The bedsheet was not too much clean and the pillows and no tooth bush and they don’t respond to the calls when we were late at check in so we need to find out ourself which floor our room was but they did mention the door number and keys

The owner or manager was very nice and understanding A small ant problem thin walls

I cannot say enough good things about this stay. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that GP House does things differently, with genuine care, attention to detail, and a warmth that’s increasingly rare in the hospitality world. The private suite is beautifully furnished and packed with everything you need , including a mini-fridge, TV, writing desk, and a spotless private bathroom. The room was immaculately clean, the bathroom had hot water, and the free WiFi kept me connected throughout my stay. It truly felt like my own little apartment in the heart of Bangkok. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the whole check-in process was seamless, and they made every interaction feel personal and effortless. You can tell they genuinely care about your experience. Now, the location. You’re in a quiet residential pocket of the Sukhumvit area, yet just minutes from supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes, with a 7-Eleven conveniently close by. The BTS Skytrain is easily accessible, and once you’re on it, the whole city opens up: shopping malls, temples, markets, nightlife, you name it. Lumpini Park and Rajamangala National Stadium are both within a short ride , making this a perfect base for both leisure and exploration. After our first two nights, we loved it so much we extended our stay for the rest of the week. We would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable, and genuinely welcoming place to stay in Bangkok, this is it. Book it before everyone else finds out about it!

I’ll be back

Clean, quiet and easy check in even if no staff. It’s quite a bit of walk and if you’re tired from your trip walking to the hotel from bts onnut is like long distance but there are motorcycles that can bring you only 20/15baht

Great place to stay. Very clean, big fridge, Large smart TV, microwave, desk and chair and a larger room than I expected for the price. The water was hot and good pressure (i was on 4th floor) and the bathroom like new. Small balcony, but ok for 1. I liked the bed, but may be a little hard for soft Europeans. Very quiet residential street, but only 2 mins walk to a large 7/11 through a small alley at the end of the otherwise dead end street. I met the owner and his wife who were lovely, however I could imagine being there and not meeting anyone (pick up access card in a lockbox - good security - also need your card for the lift. I'd probably fit a shower curtain as the splash-back took a while to dry out on bathroom floor. It takes exactly 11 minutes to walk to/from On Nut BTS Skytrain station once you know the way (first time was a bit hard, and google maps got as confused as me) - but there's a wee line up coming out of On Nut and you can jump on the back of a bike for 20baht ($0.91 AUD) to take you there if you cant be bothered walking

Very spacious, clean, nice bedsheets, and the checkin / checkout system is very practical. 15 min walk to the BTS (train).

The room itself was fantastic, complete with a smart TV and all the essential amenities. However, the location was a bit disappointing. Although there’s an elevator, the thin walls made for an uncomfortable stay—I could hear my neighbors chatting and even coughing nonstop, which was quite disruptive. Additionally, I was surprised to find out that room cleaning was not included; you have to pay 150 baht for that and tip the maid. Since I had just undergone surgery and couldn’t leave the room, this wasn't an issue for me. - I wanted to be left alone… I wasn't sure what to do with the trash, and although I managed since my stay was short, I was grateful to have brought extra toilet paper with me! My biggest frustration, though, stemmed from the misleading information on Booking.com. The apartment was advertised with a bathtub, but when I arrived, there was none. This is a clear case of false advertising that needs to be rectified—I believe Booking.com should remove this inaccurate listing immediately. The hotel also has a responsibility to ensure that third-party listings accurately represent their accommodations, which was quite disappointing. While this may not have been a significant issue under normal circumstances, having a bathtub was crucial for me due to my surgery, and it was the primary reason I chose this room. What I appreciated about the property was the smart TV and the friendly staff at the hotel. The refrigerator was a good size, which was a plus. However, if it weren't for the bathtub issue, I would have rated it higher. Booking.com really needs to take responsibility for this misleading information.

Perfect spot with all basic needs met. About a 15 min walk to the closest metro station/mall/supermarket. Owner was very friendly and kind, wish I had time to chat with him more! WiFi was perfect for work, ac worked well, quiet location, felt safe in the neighborhood. They also have washer dryer to use. But make sure to have 10 baht coins on you! They’re coin operated, something I wish I had known so I could have prepared properly. Pillows were pretty tough, had a stiff neck in the morning. You can hear your neighbors

At first glance the room seemed really great and accommodating in a quiet area off of Sukhumvit. Owner seemed friendly and engaging. Then the troubles started.... Let's start with the "balconies" this place has if you could even call them that. They are so small, they serve no practical purpose except for one thing....they can be used by guests in neighboring rooms to literally peep directly into your room and view anything and everything you happen to be doing! It looks like there was an attempt to wall off the attached ""balconies" with wooden slats but it doesnt really help. Anyone who wants to peep into your room can easily do so. You'll also be exposed to extreme noise from your neighbors if they party in their rooms (or frankly, even if they DON'T party). I had two separate neighbors raising bloody hell until 4 in the morning smoking weed and making sleeping conditions impossible. Again, the proximity of the attached "balconies" are so close that after a few minutes my entire room was reeking of marijuana!. You can combat this somewhat by keeping all the drapes closed but the noise and the noise and the stench of weed will still persist nonetheless. Now lets talk about the alleged "baggage storage" this place supposedly offers. When I first checked in, I personlly confirmed with the owner that I could store my bag for a few hours after checkout as I had a flight in the early evening. The owner warmly affirmed this.....that is until checkout time arrived and he started to waver on his prior promise to me. Now it seems i only had until 4 pm to retrieve my bag that was being stored in his office instead of the aformentioned agreed upon time of 6 pm. I was a bit annoyed with this change but I begrudgingly accepted and changed my plans to come back to retrieve them earlier. Well, turns out the owner out and out lied to me.

The staff and facility was exactly what I was looking for. Clean, safe, comfortable and affordable. It's a bit of a walk to the train, but using Grab (Uber equivalent) or taxis are also very affordable if you don't want to walk 10 min to the train
