So close to BTS station making getting to all the attractions very easy. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely refreshed everyday. The gym is air conditioned and equipment was functional. The breakfast was very good with nice variety and served late. My favorite was the noodle station, Thai milk, and made to order eggs. Great night food market just down the street. Room was large with a fresh feeling. Not walkable to much beyond a grocery and shopping center. The pool is not open.

very good quality breakfast with varieties of food. cleaning the room everyday. staff were very pleasant and tried to meet your needs. location is perfect as it is located not far from the main road and yet the rooms are quiet. the swimming pool was not functioning or out of order during our visit

Everything is great, very friendly staff specially the receptionist are very welcoming and they provide excellent care during my stay. The room is amazing very spacious, clean, interior very modern and i had wonderful rest during my stay as its so quite during night time. And the location is great just walking distance to train stations and 7/11 is nearby. Very safe place and definitely i had a very great experience during my stay. Will definitely book again when i’m back in beautiful city of bangkok ???? Nothing all is perfect ☺️

The room was thoughtfully designed, and although it was a similar size to most hotel rooms, it felt much more spacious. It was exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping staff were amazing - friendly, helpful, and very attentive. What really stood out was the attention to detail. The room had two bedside tables, each equipped with USB chargers as well as regular power outlets. This made it incredibly easy to charge multiple devices at the same time - phones, laptops, and battery packs without having to share one bedside table with your partner, which seems to be common in many other hotels we’ve stayed at. The hotel also provided all the essential amenities, including a hairdryer, toothbrush, and shaver. The balcony in our room was also a very nice touch. There was only one aspect of this hotel that my husband and I did not enjoy, and that was the reception staff during check-in and throughout our stay. For the entire time we were there, unfortunately, at no point did we feel positively about our interactions with reception. Simple questions or requests were often met with side glances, eye-rolling, or smirks. On one occasion, when we handed in our laundry which had accumulated due to a month of traveling - two staff members reacted with visible expressions and comments such as “woah” and comments we couldn’t understand which felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. If you’re going to say something, at least wait till we leave. We had been considering extending our stay, but these repeated experiences ultimately discouraged us. Overall, the reception staff came across as unprofessional and lacking in courtesy. The other aspects are personal preferences so I won’t fault the hotel but the beds were very soft - we were sinking when we sat on the beds.

We spent three nights at the Amber Hotel and were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite, which was a lovely surprise. The standout feature is the breakfast—exceptional variety for both Western and Asian tastes, with dedicated cooks, excellent breads and pastries, and a wide selection of hot dishes. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, going out of their way to accommodate our requests. The room was scrupulously clean, and while the décor is a little dated, it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into updates (such as the smart TV). N/A

To start with the positives, the hotel staff were very nice and friendly, and our room was relatively spacious. Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. We stayed at Hotel Amber for four nights and chose it based on the many high reviews. I feel it’s important to share our experience so that others can make a more informed decision. As we approached the hotel, we were immediately struck by a strong smell of sewage right outside the lobby. This odor was present every day. At times the smell was noticeable in the lobby as well, and after two days it began coming from the sink in our room. I had to seal the drain with toilet paper to stop the smell from coming out. The bed was much too soft for our comfort. The shower was extremely small—so small that I had to stand tightly in the corner just to be able to close the shower door. The sofa and chairs in the room were also stained, which made them unpleasant to use. Breakfast was acceptable, but the coffee was very poor.
