Lamphu House Bangkok

It looked messy, with clutter around the common areas. It doesn’t have a lift

Unfortunately I did not manage to stay at Lamphuhouse. The person incharge did not provide information accurately. Last minute cancellation! Very Disappointing

The beds are quite firm.

The courtyard area when you first arrive is very pretty. Staff were great. Held our bags for us after checkout. Room was clean with a very nice balcony. The location was a little far from reliable public transit, making it a little difficult to get to some areas of Bangkok without Grab/Taxi. When first arriving, our maps brought us to an incorrect location, and the true location is a little difficult to find. May also be due to user error.

Very clean and well kept. Staff was very nice. Very comfortable bed.

Location, (though a bit difficult to find it’s behind some store with stuff for tourists) a nice reception with hanging out area kinda hostel vibes; food downstairs was good you can buy cheap nice food My room was really poor, couldn’t see anything through windows and impossible to open them, it was last floor very high many stairs no elevator, room was very simple and very old build on budget with exposed electrical cables everywhere, no balcony, but it was ok since I was alone, a good location built up for that. The air condition was struggling to work it was too hot even if I had it working all the time it’s just probably old model I had it set up for 18 degrees maybe I should do a minimum but I didn’t want to risk a sickness .

(3 teen girls) had a scary and aggressive encounter with the man in the room beside us. we spoke to the staff and they did absolutely nothing – if anything they made us seem like we were the problem. felt unsafe because of that, heads up for solo backpackers! also there is no "quite time" however we got yelled at for talking at a normal volume in our room at 10-1030...the walls are thin i suppose but how are we to know (mind you it's right beside khao san road so i'm not sure what you expect).

We had a double room with balcony and bathroom and it was exceptional.

The room was not spacious enough.

The room was tiny in comparison to the photos, we were sent up three flights of stairs with our luggage, and the bed had the worst matress ever, we did not end up with a proper night's rest.

In the heart of Cannabis Thailand and no weed allowed not even in the very open air garden...nothing to say on website NO CANNABIS because as I'm sure with most people visiting Thailand if it DID I WOULDN'T have booked a stay there

Staff and set up was nice, great value

The location is great - restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful, my friend had lost Luggage and the recpetion always kept us informed about the process. When we came back from the city they had already taken care and stored it for us when the Luggage arrived so we could easily pick it up. The cafe/ garden is a great place to escape the busy city and have a nice refreshment. There is storage for Backpacks after check out which was amazing.

Right by Khaosan road without being in the chaos. Beautiful location and the staff were kind and helpful. The restaurant had some of the best massaman curry I have had in Thailand ?

Great location, friendly staff and good value. Firm basic comfortable beds, in small quiet but very clean room. Simple restaurant in quiet courtyard just steps away from the crowds. I stayed here with my teenage son and it was just right. Easy access to sights and transportation. I would stay here again. For the price, there is nothing to complain about.
