Location is very good if you what to explore food, art and temple as it is near to chinatown, ratchawong pier and songwat road. There’s a lot of restaurant, coffee shop and artistic area were you can take a photo. The room is not clean, bedsheets and pillowcase looks and smells like it wasn’t replace before the new guest check-in, same goes with the towels were we have to request a new one but still the same. Staff is not approachable.

The location the location the location... The staff could have been a little nicer and at least smile ahahah but it is okay... also the towels smells so bad, i don't think they wash them in high temperatures... rest is very good

The location is amazing! In the middle of china town where you can walk everywhere around. Checking in- out very easy, room is what you would want for the price. The bed was very comfortable, didn't understand why people complained about it before. I just didn't like their toilet paper so maybe buy your own when you go, but that is such a minor issue. Overall i had no problem, im gonna stay there again in coming weeks! It is what you would expect for the price. Toilet paper quality could be better ahahah

The toilet and bathroom had a very bad smell.

Really well located!! And cozy beds/rooms

The staff is not so friendly. I stayed for 3 nights. What is cleaned regularly in the shared bathroom is the trash, but the mat is never replaced, and the floor is never mopped, so it is quite slippery. The building is quite old, I broke the doorknob when I tried to close my room door by pulling it with only minimal force. They changed my room because I couldn't lock my door, but had to pay 400 baht to replace the knob that basically already aging...

I also liked the room size — not too small and quite comfortable. The air conditioning was very cold, which was great, and there was a TV in the room as well. However, I think it would be even better if there were a working desk in the room. The shared bathroom was okay, but there was no shampoo or soap provided. I would recommend providing them in each room for guests. Overall, I think this hostel is good and worth the price. I would give it 9 out of 10.

The common bathrooms have small doors that are always open, so it feels kind of exposed. Despite seeing them getting clean a couple times, there was usually a bad odor coming from them.

Good location, simple room with comfy bed, good value for a short stay but don’t expect everything to be great. The bathroom had a significant amount of mold and I had to put new batteries in the AC remote to turn it on and it was still pretty warm on the second floor

Location: Best spot to stay in the city. The street is super fun to walk around during the day and it's just a walk away from the busiest street of Chinatown. Even with this location it is very quiet in the evening! Coffee shops around are on the pricier side though (also very hipster-like shops lol) Room: Deluxe Double Room with Balcony - It's nice enough. Bed is a bit on the harder side (my partner enjoyed it, me not so much) and the room is clean and has a desk. ROOM: - The AC was not near strong enough to handle the Bangkok heat. We spent the full stay there (4 nights) messing around with the remote and the actual AC unit because the room was "cold" enough to not make us sweat at night but it was not a comfortable temperature at all no matter how much we messed around with the settings. Out of the 5 hotels/hostels we stayed in during our Thailand trip (2 in Bangkok), this was the only one that had a problem with the AC (on the hottest city too!!). Very disappointing. - The balcony was not balcony, it was more like a window to the alleyway. We barely stayed inside the room so we didn't mind it that much though.

I like the room and it is spacious for a solo traveler and the area is in Chinatown so it is always busy. The comfort room for men smells awful and can be unpleasant on the common area.

The room I had met my needs as a single traveler and had easy access to shared bathroom. It was close to a number of the sights you want to see in Bangkok and Grab makes reaching these places easy and accessible. Place was clean and not noisy. Very close walk to Chinatown

    Location and price Pillows

The staff weren't exactly helpful, though. So, don't count on getting any local tips or advice for Bangkok from them.

I've stayed here numerous times, the individual rooms are way better than the rooms with shared bathroom. Location is just great!

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

There could be a mini fridge in the room. It would be appreciated given the temperature. But luckily there is a non stop shop nearby that always has cold beverage handy.

bathroom could be a bit better

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

The bathroom has a bit cheap finishes with mold on the tiles, rust on steel parts of the wash basin cabinet, door

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

Bathroom stinks. The extraction doesn't work & instead of fixing it there's a sign asking to leave the door open. The communal area is unusable as there are no fans or AC. It's alright but not more than alright.
