We got upgraded to a traditional villa and its architecture and furniture was beautiful. The villa was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and I loved the green of the garden space. The hotel is unique and special in this way. Few hotels in Bangkok offer this traditional beautiful vibe now. It is very suitable for families, groups and longer stays. There reception was friendly and made effort, but there were listening language barriers. Noise level at night was a bit an issue, but still manageable.

A good location. The hotel is expensive for what it is. We were assigned a room in a side building, which required us to leave the hotel, cross a public side alley, and enter a different building. That's not a hotel with a pool anymore. The rooms have seen better days and are a little run down. The hotel charges 40 usd for early check-in and requires you to leave a deposit of 1000 THB, something basically unheard of since the 1990s. Overall, management and lack of investment make this an overpriced choice, which is a shame because it could be charming.

We have stayed at the Davis a few times since it first opened on overnight stays in Bangkok. It is a good place to stay, good location and provides everything you could need at the business end of the city.

The room itself was pretty good, I'd give it a solid 8/10. Rooms themselves are luxurious but dated - like it's heyday was 20 years ago and it hasn't been updated. But staff ruined the stay. They are arrogant. Example: my room had an area with a sink and cabinets; like a little kitchenette. But the cabinets were empty. I ordered food from Grab. When it arrived I called to ask for utensils - which is a very normal request, even at a *cheap* hotel. The front desk guy literally laughed at me, condescendingly, and said "if you ordered from Grab call Grab, this is not our problem." Wow. I went down to the front desk he just double down on the arrogant attitude. He even threatened to call the police when I took his picture to report him!

An efficient business type of hotel; nice and well-sized rooms. I had stayed there many years ago and liked it; hence booked it again. The hotel seemed a bit tired since my last stay. They don't have a place or stand to unpack your suitcase - I had to use the floor to unpack my suitcase - strange for a hotel of this standard. They also have a noisy nightclub Baccarat at the lobby level which is loud (it was a weekend) and I would hear the music/deep bass in my room till about 2.00am - was able to sleep only after the music stopped...

I was not in the main building I didn’t know there was two buildings the gym and pool was in the main building so pay attention to which building to book

there is a club inside the hotel it's impossible to sleep if you are in the left aisle of the hotel
