The Unforgotten B&B

As a family of three, we have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses around the world, but The Unforgotten B&B is one of those rare places that stays in your heart long after you leave. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like guests and more like welcomed friends. The building itself is full of character, beautifully restored and decorated with incredible attention to detail. Every corner tells a story, creating an atmosphere that is warm, authentic, and completely unique. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Our child absolutely loved exploring all the charming details throughout the house. It felt like staying in a living museum, but with all the comfort you could wish for. The breakfasts were exceptional. Every morning was a new experience, with delicious homemade Chinese dishes prepared with care. It was one of the highlights of our stay and a wonderful way to discover local flavors. What makes this place truly special, however, is the people. The kindness, hospitality, and genuine warmth of the host made us feel at home from the very first day. His recommendations helped us experience Bangkok in a much more authentic way. The location is perfect, close enough to Chinatown and many attractions, yet peaceful enough to feel like a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. If you are looking for a standard hotel, this is not it. If you are looking for a place with soul, history, charm, and unforgettable hospitality, look no further. Mr Mos personally welcomed us on arrival. We loved our upgraded room with private terrace. Everything was immaculately clean. Bed was comfy. And breakfast served in the beautiful dining room was delicious. We loved it all. Just be aware that this is an old building, with no lift. Book a low floor if you have issues with steep stairs. We found the walk to the fourth floor worth it.

Close to some of the tourist spots like the Royal Temple, China town and other local markets. In addition, the staff’s hospitality is exceptional and the authentic breakfast is delicious! The steep stairs.

Nothing. Maybe the location but definitely doesn’t worth the terrible experience. The room that I booked didn’t have a bathroom attached even though it was called as a suite. The wall were extremely dirty and the painting was terrible with dust and fungus. The breakfast was very poor with only Thai options with no fruits or eggs or anything to choose between ocidental and Thai breakfast. The drinks offered at the breakfast were only water and coffee or tea. The receptionist was very confusing and seemed to be always in a rush, and ansious to be payed as soon as possible.

My only complaint was the noise. I'm a light sleeper and this B&B isn't located off a side street or a quiet area. It's pretty closer to a main road. Bangkok in general is loud and chaotic so noise will always be a factor, but since this was an older building, the sound dampening was nonexistent. Just be cognizant of this if you don't sleep well with noise.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were greeted upon arrival by the host & couldn’t have been more friendly throughout our stay. The room was perfect & exactly what we were looking for…comfortable bed, clean apartment, and great bathroom and shower. The location was absolutely spot on with so many great things within walking distance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Nothing…everything was spot on!

The hosts were wonderful, very friendly, the location is very central and located right in Chinatown. The food was good. Really enjoyed the central spot, and walking around. This is not a flaw, more a personal problem, I forgot that being in the center of everything could be very loud, so if you're a light sleeper, then this is not the spot for you. Just keep that in mind, it's in a lively, loud part of town and the facility is really nicely set up. But I was jet lagged and I didn't catch up on my sleep, I'd suggest sleep meds or lower your expectations on the noise levels.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome. Location is top and breakfast is local, do not expect continental breakfast. They provide with everything you need to make you feel comfortable, so if something doesn't work do speak to them!

Whimsical and beautiful with great rooms and comfort. Delicious breakfast and excellent service. Perfect location as well. I even cancelled my reservations in other hotels so I can come back and stay here again. Home away from Home! Nothing that I didn’t like.

Breakfast was great! They had meals prepared for us and it was definitely not a continental breakfast. Delicious food that included a stewed chicken with rice and veggies/soup. That was memorable because what home-cooked meal isn't? I did also enjoy that they had a side door for late returns. We definitely appreciated it when we returned from a night out exploring Chinatown. The proximity to Chinatown was also PERFECT for the one day we spent in Bangkok. The only issue (probably due to it being an older place) was the shower which seemed to have very low pressure. It wasn't a super big deal to me, but if you really wanted a hotel-grade experience in the bathroom, this was tiny! I thought overall it was a great experience and don't really have anything negative to say. Although I wish I had known cash was expected for payment of the room. I am not sure if I missed that on the booking website. I hadn't pulled out enough baht and had to visit an ATM.

Nothing- it had a cat. If I knew then I would not have booked it. It should have been listed upfront l When I got the room, I didn’t know that they had a cat. My wife is allergic to cat and we didn’t stay once we got to the room. She made reservation once we got wifi- so we left and went to a hotel. I didn’t get any rerun, etc as we didn’t stay any longer than 1 hr there before we left. I sent an email to Booking.com but I didn’t see any reply about our horrible experience and loss of money. I tried to talk to my wife to stay but she told me that she didn’t feel well. She called for taxis to pick us up, we had to leave quickly as the taxis was waiting for us. My wife didn’t want to stay any second longer.

The location is optimal. 5-8 Minutes walking distance from Chinatown and 15-20 Minutes from River City.

Very short walk from near by mrt station. Friendly welcoming from the staff :) The absolute best breakfast I had on my entire trip. Masaman curry might be on my breakfast menu at home now! In an excellent location near many street food vendors and on the edge of talat noi. Would definitely return! I ended up in a different building down the road from the main one, but was still very welcoming and private with a balcony overlooking the road

Amazing location. 5 minutes walk to Chinatown main road and the riverfront. Super friendly hosts. Plenty of water and a huge breakfast! Nothing.

Quirky place, lots of little details that made it interesting. Little balcony was a stunning touch with all its plants and birds coming in and singing during the day. We had to stay in doors for two days due to my husband being bed ridden (sore back) and this was the perfect little room, made it easy to do. Host was lovely and friendly, very accommodating.

Hosts were very helpful. They provided us a room where we can rest while waiting for our room to be ready. The breakfast was exceptional. The taste was heavenly and we got to experience the culture. It was close to china town, local restaurants and trendy cafe and night markets
