Noise is loud and constant, but you get what you ask for, Khao San road is not for the weak. Location is just OK, a bit sketchy entrances towards the hostel, lots of paramedic and police presence around the area. Room was just ok, Not much space to move around, even less if you are in a shared dormitory Didn´t like arriving there during water festival, arrived wet to the hostel and that made me not enjoy my first night there. Would avoid this place if I really could, go somewhere quieter or nicer.

It was cheap The hotel was basic, no elevator so I had to drag my suitcase to the 4th floor by foot. Couldn’t sleep the whole night felt like I was in the club the whole time.

We thought having shared bathrooms would be unpleasant but the bathrooms and shower were very pleasant and always clean The rooms have windows but in most room all the window handles were taken off and there is no way to let in fresh air

Location So noisy had no sleep for 3 nights the beds were rock hard may aswell have slept on floor and there was no hot water in shower no lift and had to climb 4 flights of stairs which wasn’t ideal being old

The location is really great but not sound proof. The staff, daytime receptionist always rude and if you ask any question to her which you will because of the language barrier, she will become very very rude to you. She almost had a fight with me but thats fine You try to book through booking.command try avoid staff conversations

My booking was for 2 nights on 1st January and check out was on 3rd January. I have mailed the hotel and if it is possible from 31st January then give the room on 31st December.Hotel replay came, we don't have triple room on 31st December, you can take some other hotel room on 31st December I will manage and will check in on 1st January 2pm.We went to the hotel on 1st January at 9am and told them that we will drop them and check in at 2pm. But the staff did not say that you will have to pay the rent for 31st December only when you check in on 1st January at 9am. I paid the charges for yesterday night because we are very tired

It was pretty cheap. The volume of the music coming through the walls, the bright lights from the AC.

Price and location The extreme noise, you literally can’t sleep until the party at khao san is over. The beds are very hard, seems like sleeping in the floor.
