My room was excellent for meeting the needs of a tired traveler. Great bed, good hot water, spacious, near temples, restaurants, and canal. Near busy not life....but far enough away it is peaceful.

Location was perfect, staff was friendly, the room was clean, beds were comfortable. The pier is close by which makes getting around with kids really easy.

Perfect Staff, location as well. Kudos to the staff. Very, very family friendly! Room service is Excellent - water is provided in a glass bottle and refilled day per day hence eco-friendly - if that matters to you. Quaint, quiet and nice, I think. Breakfast if you choose for your stay is thumbs up as well. Highly recommended.

Location close to everything and a solid reference marker to find your way home. Staff were so helpful and spoke excellent English. Clean, spacious, quiet, and the best bed in all of Asia. Incredible value.

The location couldn't be better. The Orchid House is tucked away on a quiet side street across from a temple in an interesting neighborhood that is a refuge from the busy tourist area just blocks away. Many of the city's top attractions -- the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the National Museum and Wat Pho -- are an easy walk away. We stayed in a junior suite, which was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There were always very helpful staff members around to answer questions. We highly recommend this place and will stay there again whenever we come to Bangkok.

The hotel is very nice; it has a boutique-like aesthetic. They always have someone in the reception, and you can even leave your luggage there. The room had quite a bit of space, and we had free bottled water. The bathroom structure was interesting. The shower and the toilet were in the same zone, and you would always get your feet wet when you wanted to use the toilet (not a major issue, but worth noting). The location is also a bit far away from anything major, so we had to take a cab to go anywhere.

We loved this hotel and our lovely room. The area is great. Felt very authentic Bangkok. Everything you need within a short distance. I would highly recommend and would stay again. Nothing I didn't like. The one tiny drawback might be not being handy to the metro.
