Well located traditional style hotel. Staff helpful and room was clean and tidy if a bit old fashioned. The wifi worked well and breakfast was varied and well presented. Security was good and accessibility for someone with a leg problem was fine. Perhaps a bit on the old side. It perhaps lack the charm of a really Thai style traditional hotel and if you are looking for more modern facilities maybe not for you. However it is in a good spot for the nightlife and MRT/BTS and okay value for the money.

Staff were friendly upon check in-out. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is perfect for the lively area. The hotel is a bit dated, but that also led to its charm.

The hotel is in a great location which offers you lots of food choices as well as convenient transportation. The breakfast was good. The young man who did the room cleaning was excellent. The staff, in general, were helpful. The gym could provide towels and water. Unfortunately, the WiFi was inconsistent.

A lovely quiet place at the Surawong/Silom area. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cozy and styled like old Siamese homes, with wooden furniture and floor. The old-style rooms are very clean and functional, and staying there was very comfortable. I had to stay in the room for hours to do some work, and the room was a perfect fit. I had some concerns about wifi being a bit slow, but it proved just fast enough for Zoom and any other computing needs. The breakfast is sometimes uneven - the basic breakfast is good, but some days there are even better options.

Colonial furniture, Good service at the front desk for excursions, taxi calls, show tickets breakfast is rather poor, the space is rather small. The pool area is tiny.

The room was very large and comfortable. The bed was very firm and that was good for my wife and I. The staff always had a smile and were eager to help you. Excellent breakfast and for 60 baht if you wanted an amazing coffee, cappuccino, espresso in the lobby. There was nothing not to like.

The bed was incredibly firm. I struggle with hip and back pain so it was uncomfortable for me. We also had issue with the air conditioner. It leaked all over the floor. Maintenance was very attentive and spent time cleaning it up and trying to fix it.

Love this hotel. I used to stay here all the time when I lived in SE Asia. A lot has changed. Breakfast wasn’t as stellar as I remember. Staff were not as flexible as they used to be to, for example, allow a late checkout.

I booked a rate without breakfast as we only ever start the day with a barista coffee We had separate rooms 405 and 406 and the pillows on the bed/s in both rooms were very flat, no neck support, they need to be replaced.

Loved this hotel. My new favorite hotel in Bangkok! Lovely classic design and interiors. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and bellman and breakfast waiter. Beautiful cozy rooftop pool. I really enjoyed my stay here and will come back soon. Cons- Aircon is old and difficult to use. It's either too hot or too cold and is noisy. Lighting- the room has way too many light switches so turning everything off to go to bed is a challenge. These were minor issues and did not detract from my stay.

Large lovely room with classic character Breakfast was a bit disappointing, perhaps because they seemed a bit short staffed the only day we were able to eat. On site restaurant was very good for dinner, reasonably priced with great food and service.
