Rude, unwelcoming staff. Never to rarely spoke to us. No intro to the hotel at all when we checked in (where was the pool, where to go for breakfast etc etc.). We figured it out on our own. Rooms were VERY rundown and no A/C in first room, so moved rooms.

During my week-long stay, breakfasts lacked variety - it was a pity that mango didn't feature in the fruit selection - but what was on offer was of a very good standard. The Thai dishes were particularly well-cooked and flavoursome. I particularly appreciated the efforts of some of staff at the reception, who responded well when I asked to change my room. I was moved to one with a great view of the Bangkok cityscape - and this significantly improved my experience of staying there.

I don't have a single negative thing to say about any member of the hotel staff. All of the saff members were very polite, serious and diligent long suffering Thai people. There are these situations in a lot of cities with intense trafficking crime where you suddenly find yourself overwhelmend by an enormous group of people, literally dozens at once and they are all completely evil and fully committed to the most satanic goals imaginable, and then someone is talking in triangles and threes, and understand fully the nature of the war and the terrorist organization. You suddenly have a thousand insurgents in a neighborhood from Hong Kong.

The location is next to a small mall. Convenient to get meal and get to public transportation. A boat pier is 100m away from the hotel. It's a great option to avoid traffic in BKK. Room size and the bed are big. Good value for money. Could refurbish a bit on the bathroom door and floor drainage.

The balcony was really dirty, lots of cigarette buds on the floor.
